Well done Mark on owning the best phase Clio. Looks good and I know you will do it justice. Shame I'm moving on from clios if I ever manage to sell mine.
Got the car back from my mechanic this week all working. Seems like it wasn't as bad as we thought. He seems to think it was a glitch with the ECU that caused it to run rough. Changed plugs, coil pack and leads and it was still running rough. He then did a compression test on it but no real clue...
Quick update on my non running Clio. Spoke to Mike and Chip at the Longbridge Mill meet who suggested the timing belt had slipped. Have got it booked in with the mechanic who fitted the cambelt and it should be going on Tuesday. Then I'll make my mind up on what to do with it.
It is the last Breakfast Club this Sunday. Have registered the Panda for a laugh but don't expect to get it in. Anyone else up for this?

Bunch of sheds. Sorry I couldn't make this but the missus needed me to go to homebase instead and then my daughter's car broke down so had to go and rescue her.
Great pics Chris. Shame I missed a rare outing from Oli. Sam your car does not look as filthy as you led us to believe. Tim the wheels...
Time for another update following the biggest week of my Clio's life. We visited three tracks but only drove on one of them. The week began with a blast up to Silverstone for Trax. Did a lot of cleaning in prep for it so that it would look like acceptable on the stand.
Then last Thursday...
Cost £189.00 for a full open pit lane. Well worth it as I overtook a Porsche 911 :rasp:
Cheers mate it shows that Team Anorak Racing does do tracks.
Would have been good trying to keep up with the Fletchbus.
Managed the whole day with minor degradation to the outer edge which was better...
Always wanted to do a track day at Thruxton and they don't come up often. Got some time booked off work so looked around and found this one. Really great day with a great bunch of guys. Well organised, high driving standards and some epic machinery. Didn't take my camera but got some pics from...
Just a few pics of Clios and the stand from me. Surely these can't be as controversial as other Trax threads.
Sorry if I didn't get any pics of your Clios.
Must admit it was one of the best looking stands we have had at any show I have attended before. Well done...
