How long should the battery be on a clio 172 02 plate?
The one that came with mine is 8 inches and clearly too big as the intake pipe for the airbox can't be connected properly.

Right cheers Fred. Well on the reciept there is no mention to aux belt, only cambelt kit. How much is it to change the aux belt, and at 76k, how many times should it have been changed? Im thinking its probably just been done once at 36k service.
Hi I bought an 02 172 3 weeks ago, 76k with 5 stamps in the service book.
The last service was carried out at 70k and the reciept states it had a replacement cam belt kit fitted. Would this have included the aux belt? There's no mention of it but surely it would have been due one??

Bought a 172 ph2 a couple of weeks ago, thought it was 100% standard. But it actually has a K&N panel air filter. Just wondered, are these any good, is the only affect it will have on the car a slightly deeper tone?

Thanks for the advise bagss, but i think I'm gona service it myself. Just wondered where best place to get it all from and if there was a make of oil/plugs/ht leads that worked well in a CS?

No its not blowing and the revs seem pretty steady, just feels a bit lumpy, if thats normal then fair enough.
So what about oil, sparks, ht leads, what/where from? Just standard reno stuff?
