Was a great meet guys, nice to meet some new faces and was a great drive around Corhampton. Thought that I would never say this but I now hate Porsches, as was held up two doddling along today. Sorry we lost you Steve when we trurned off, but there was some spirited and committed driving going...
Went to Goodwood today for the Vintage Sports car Club Track Day. Not a Renault in sight. It was lovely to see cars way older than me stretching their legs.

Took my car in for an MOT today for the first time. Passed with no problems. Got talking to the guy who runs the Garage and although into Jap cars he confessed he had a 182 that he loved. He sais that he drove a 197 and thought it was too refined after driving a 182. Said that he his a chip for...
Anyone else up for attending. Fletch and I went to the Spring one and it was a good day out. If interested and you want to get your name down on the list do so here: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?525372-Ajec-Summer-Performance-Day-Castle-Combe-*11th-Sept-2010**
Parked next to this at Homebase yesterday to show what proper stickers look like. Was done up with the gash Clio Cup stickers and stripes all over it. :headno:
Having received no joy from Renault Customer Services about replacing my worn seat bolster under the warranty. "Sorry sir that's normal wear and tear on a second hand car with 45000 miles on the clock". Total bunch of Tossers IMHO. I resorted to getting a replacement myself. £249.00 from a...
Just a few pics from this morning. Good attendance and good to meet new people and old friends.
How many bodies can you get in there Tim?
Chris getting in some practice for his drive home.
Cracking day and run there and back.

Forgive the poor quality, having issues with a dirty camera and will need to get it sorted. These are some of the ones that I rescued.

Great meet today and it was great being stuck in the most expensive traffic jam in history trying to get in. Just a few of my pics from today.

I guess it had to happen. It's official 172s are now in the hands of chavs. Saw this one this morning with Halfrauds wheels, black tribal graphics, loud zorst and brap brap choons. God help us all.
Definitely not a member of the Turini brigade
Came across this tonight and wondered if anyone would be willing to join in for a Group buy. Need to know numbers before contacting him.

Two weeks till FCS and thought I'd have a go at detailing the car this weekend as had the time and weather on my side. Spent over 6 hours washing, claying and then polishing. My back has gone and my shoulders feel like I've been presssing weights in the gym for hours. All because my son said the...
Cliosport shocker 1: A South Central Meet that Fletcher didn't attend.
Cliosport Shocker 2: Another South Central Meet that Atouba couldn't make due to sick car.:headno:
Cliosport Shocker 3: The Area Rep forgot the meet was tonight.
Despite the above setbacks the brave few...

Thought I'd share these.
Feel free to add interesting signs of your own.

Few of us went along for this meeting this morning. The theme was Sporting four seaters so good chance we would get in. Somehow Fletch's ghetto fix was deemed as special enough to get on the track and the rest of us were relegated to the paddock. :S
Anyhow here's a few of my pics...
Coming home tonight saw a GW 197 with a private plate and the occupant enthusiastically waving at me. Was on the Fair Oak road between Fair Oak and Bishopstoke. Did wave but not as enthusiastically, sorry!
Sat at home this morning, as I have the week off, I got a call from Sky saying how much of a valued customer I am. Waited for the we would like to take some more of your money from you speech and then they gave me:
Free Sky HD+ box
Free installation
Free moving current Sky+ box upstairs

Have been told by the missus that all of my hoarded parts for my 182 have to go now that I've sold the car. So they're all on Ebay at the moment and more parts to list as well. Would be open to offers from Cliosporters but not below starting prices...
Took so many photos and didn't manage to see everything. Too much of the breakfast and chatting and missed walking up the main straight and the Supercar car park. Never seen it that busy. Was a great morning despite the cold.
Ouch!!
And a Bimmer from a certain member from...
