This is running on renaultsport and Clio197.net at the moment. Anyone interested in going up? It looks like quite a large turnout and Renault will be there with latest RS models.
I've finally done it. Sold the 182 and bought an R27. Loving it, although have some issues with the stealers to resolve.
Last pic of my old bus on its own.
Comments always welcome
Anyone up for the first Breakfast Club of the year? It's Tax Free Sunday for all cars registered before 1973. I will definitely be going in one of my cars. Trying to get the Elf running in time for this and am trying something out next week as a temporary mend. If it doesn't work, will be going...
Just been down to the local ex stealer and they have a LY R27 in. Been reduced in price but it has done 44000 miles. Tempted but not likely to get rid of a lower mileage car for this. So booked a test drive to make up my mind if this is what I want to do. Will be in no hurry to buy so will take...
If anyone was wondering why I've got my 182 Cup alloys up for sale here is the reason.
I got home from Goodwood yesterday and my son told me about a wheel deal he had been offered by a friend in the trade. These were brand new with no mark tyres and a once only offer that I couldn't refuse...
Following on from Fletch's last thread here is this weeks re-enactment of that meet.
Sorry Fletch couldn't resist :rasp:
Took the opportunity to take some pics after my cleaning session this weekend, after uncharacteristically turning up at a meet with a filthy car last week.
Was it just me or did I hear mention of A Krispy Kremes Meet being arranged for January? If so can I make a request for a Wednesday Night Meet either 6th or 13th. You know how I like to book things in my diary.
most people who know me reckon I'm a Detail freak and as I have kept my mileage down assume I don't drive my car except to meets and shows. Had a morning to myself today and am seriously fed up of Christmas prep so decided to do one of the above.
Had to be the second option, so thought...
Just a couple of pics from my phone at Goodwood Xmas Cracker this morning. Left the 182 at home and had a blast in the Elf and my son took the Metro.
Dastardly moment. Had to be Dick didn't it!!
The boy's Metro Turbo rep

Surely the toughest or wettest person of...
I've had my 182 for three years now and thought that it was a time to go through my ownership journey. I came to a Clio from this:-
A 1.6 Megane CC which was very tame and a bit boring, totally impractical for rear seat passengers and it leaked as well. So traded it in for my current car...
Turned up late found the cars, no bods thought that you would all be eating and hate walking into a restaurant on my Jack Jones so took some photos as my son had to go on and then hung around for a bit in case anyone came back but had to get back. Hope you all had a good meet and sorry to have...
Driven and walked past this several times in the last weeks. Looks tidy. I work round the corner in Arthur Rd. Forgot to say the plate is surprisingly on a Trophy.
Anybody else up for a mega Sunday of petrol head heaven.
Start at Goodwood for Breakfast Club and then drive up to Bracknell for Pistonheads Sunday Service at BMWs headquarters.
The theme for the Breakfast Club is Souped-up Sunday, modified and custom vehicles of all ages. No doubt all Clio...
Was a great day out despite the weather. Started with a spirited drive through rural Hampshire and West Sussex and ended at Rolls Royce's Factory. Was a petrol heads nirvana, although there were so many TVRs, Porsches, Ferraris and Lambos I think the Pagani Zonda took the limelight.
Couldn't...
You may have seen one of my other posts about this or not, but thought that I would post up my findings on them since being fitted and a liitle bit of feedback from those people that have been in the car. Also some pics of before and after as well.
As you may well know K-Tec developed the...
Okay, thanks everyone for the comments about my minor mods in my last thread. For those who know me and my car do you want to play a game of guess the mod.
The first clue is: I was here yesterday:-
As some of you may recall I had my roof done in a carbon wrap. I asked if I could have an offcut as my son wanted some bits on his car done. Went away for the weekend and let my son borrow the car while we were away. Came back and found that he had done this to it. Quick search for Ady182's...
Just a few from my Non Clio collection.
My son's mate's car It's a real weapon and over 300 bhp not at Trax Rolling Road

Alright have been steadily downloading my Trax photos all evening and will put up two posts. This is my first which looks at just Clios. Then the other will be for other cars and sights. Sorry if there is a strong Southern Central theme going but I get told off by the Area rep for never posting...
As everyone has been so kind and not slated my car or even shown any pics of it from Trax I thought that I should show this in a mini thread of its own.
Now to those who say it's crap, tough, it's my car and I did it because I thought it looked good. I am not putting these pictures hoping...
Been offered a good deal on a set of Lenso BSXs. Have checked and they do a 16" with a 100 PCD fitting and an ET of 38. If my research works out these would bolt straight on. Has anyone done this and have any comments about them.
Also is there any kind Photoshop master who would be willing to...
Overtook a Silver 54 reg 182 en route to KKs meet last night. Flashed lights and put thumb up as drove past. Overtook me as I was turning off towards Paulsgrove and they drove on. Obviously weren't going to the meet !!!
Don't know if this is a repost but has anyone else seen this

At a loose end on Sunday and thought that I would get out for the day after being stuck in a car all day Saturday travelling to Cambridge and sitting in traffic jams for 6 hours.
So I dusted the cobwebs off the Elf washed it saturday night and set off early Sunday morning. Managed to get...
Hi did speak to you before you went out and then forgot your name by the time I got home. :( Anyway managed to catch some pics of you and your brother in laws? Cinquecento.
