The 3green wires are to plug into your igniter, this wouldn't cause it to wobble though.
Check the hight adjust (bottom/middle thing) hasn't come out of the slot while you was playing around with the igniter.
Cheers mate,
Funny enough i was thinking of doing the same thing 1st but looking into it there isnt much room at the back to get a good size hole with xenons (massive rubber cover) :(, but that would be simple enough to do.
All you need to do is split the lens from the backing and you could of...
Thanks all for the comments :).
Here's a pic while it was placed in my car earlier.
I've sealed the CAF also the lens with worth, so should be all done by the weekend :).
Hi all after having a spare xenon in the garage i decided some time ago to do a custom built CAF into the headlight just for track use only so here it is in the making.
1st thing was mark the headlight to the shape and dremel it out and use guttering and cut and heat with a gun once soft bend...
Omg epic... Would like to see a video of it on a track, I bet the short wheel base and all that power to the rear is a nightmare to control when the arse starts to kick out.
I know i've now came to realise that motorsport item's are s**t in quality lol.
If your talking about the ducts then no sorry mate i threw the moulds in the bin, but i do have 1set left with a tiny crack (not serious and not noticeable) but they could do with sanding down and being sprayed.
No it's not £50, there £70+vat + carriage each from Rsports.
However the passenger side don't fit all that well so might need to mess about adding fibreglass like i did to make them match the otherside.
Another bit of information there bloody thin as hell about 2mm :(.
When i made the...
Thanks for all the advice comments and info you all posted, it's been a good eye opener so i'm even more tempted and eager to get the shell dipped :).
When i finally start the M3 i'll visit some company's to see the process in person and find the best place to do it regardless of cost...
Cost doesn't bother me, the car will be done over a couple of years anyway, there will be no cage getting fitted as it will be a road car so all luxuries as it would of came out of the factory apart from a few mod's to stand out a little :).
Thanks for the info didn't realise they had the car...
Thats a shame you couldn't get a car in it :(.
Yeah didn't think of that, so more dips the better the outcome.
When i have the car done i'll have 20 lol.
