@Pacman. brother does a very decent job of PDR .. think a few bods have used him - @Phase1sr perhaps..? @Dr Jekyll ? .. Based in Harlow. Failing that IIRC, @Herr Flick (why does your name change daily!?) has a very good repair guy that he used to work with/for/or employed ?
Loans, credit cards, robbing post offices.. still got both kidneys ?
If you are going to take another year to save (as per the 5k post above) another grand - is it a good idea to get a more expensive car ?! What happens when you need a pair of tyres or something... Obvs. I don't know your...
If you're good, you can get onto the alternator with jump leads from another battery, which should give you enough juice to be able to use the keyfob..
Just run standard sizes. Make sure you're aware they aren't as effective at lower tread depths.. unless you're on a mega tight budget, if you're keeping the car for a while, just get some new ones. Even at £100 a corner, that's a far cheaper cost than ending up in the back of someone, or in a...
Is your boot carpet wet ? The bump stop bungs will leak and fill the spare wheel well over time. As you haven't got a wheel well it could be coming forward...
Even if that's not wet - Open the bootlid and you'll see two 20mm circular bungs. Take them out (carefully pinch from inside) and...

Split out how much goes on fixed bills .. fuel.. food shopping and then see where the rest goes.
Simple.
I'd be amazed if you could tell the difference between the Renault and the Thule ones by attaching them to the roof.
They're going to fit in the same place.
I've used Thule for years. Clean the paintwork where it sits on and then fit & forget. If you're really bothered, put a bit of 3M...
Absolutely. HPF/LPF cuts the low stuff to the door speakers.
10cm paper cones in the wobbly door really don't a good job at moving the air effectively.
I had stock fronts and a cheap sub in the boot of my Clio - I'm more than your average audiophile and I couldn't fault it
I have winter wheels - have done for years - but they have proper winter tyres on.
Changing wheels for the sake of keeping your other ones clean seems a bit tedious... It's a road car, not a priceless DB5.
Good grief man don't take it to bloody Renault !!!
It is probably a wheel bearing or a tyre. Could be box issues.
Swap wheels from left to right and see if it goes.
While you're doing that.. check for wobbles when the wheel's off the ground which could be a bearing going.
Ah, Fridays.
Add up the cost of buying all those parts.
Then work out how much it will cost to fit them at a garage.
Then call an insurance company and ask them how much they want to charge you.
Then go to Autotrader and see what you can buy for half of that figure which I'm guessing by now...
What about an Eonon (?) android type of unit... or is the IP a stupid shape so it won't work/ they don't make one ?
Is it a nice white, or flat/boring.. some of the pearly ones like Ford's non-flat white is wonderful !
It won't fail an MOT as you found out.. so why are you messing about with it ?
Get it read at some point in the future and see what the actual issue is. Where are you based ? Someone local will have Clip or even a cheap code reader.
