^^ Very true. A 6.5J rim with a 32 offset will fill the arches the same as a 7J with 38 offset. Quite a few things to account for when trying to get the right look.
Young lad comes on here with 100 posts, crashes car and makes a thread.. Gets comments like 'Get some driver training before you chav your next car' etc etc... so sanctimonious (sp?)
If one of the regular more popular members made the same thread there would not be a single comment like that...
Mate Ive been a mechanic in main dealers, of course i've cut corners. Not with cam timing tho, always put the locking tools back in before you build it up.. which they couldnt have done.
Sorry it's just beyond me how a specialist can get the timing that far out.
I always stick the above rule when bleeding brakes. Piece of pipe on the bleed nipple with the other end submerged in brake fluid in an old bottle or jar.. air comes out but cant go back in.
