Nah took it off my Mk1 Clio Tim, that was a lot lighter than the Mk2 clio I drove. Was just generally horrible to drive in comparison, and at slow speeds it was horrific!
It does free up a bit more bhp but of all the things i'd do removing the PAS is not one i'd do personally.
Dont, just dont. YOU WILL HATE IT!
Having deleted the powersteering on my mk1 clio and it being pretty good to drive, the mk2 is completely different! Stupidly heavy and really not worth it, just get yourself a new pump from Renault, something like a £150 which isnt really a lot. Especially now...
Brembo HC disks from G172 on here. Cheaper and far better quality than the EBC disks.
EBC bluestuff pads are very good though, the Burpspeed guys and myself use them in our cars.
Can kind of understand the paper if i'm honest. Whether its new panels done to fix a car outside of insurance to sell it or replacement/different engines is probably how they came to that assumption.
Sorn? What for?
Also r.e. the acoustic valve, just use a bit of the pipe that was originallt there an bung a large bolt in the end of it. Bobs your uncle, fannies your aunt! ;)
Re: James/BigAsh 182 Race Car by TDF... It doesn't get much better than this! *Pic He
Lol, i've done a couple FCS sessions. Cracking fun, anything goes pretty much! lol But like the others have said, not worth risking some plum righting off your current car!
I actually have a helix with pressure plate in my possession, came with my diff that I purchased. Wasn't sure whether to fit it as I couldn't tell how much life was in it so fitted a Valeo.
