Right a little update...
Gave the Arctic its first quick clean as it was hanging out of its arse, snowfoamed, washed down and snowfoamed again just for good measure! Came out pretty clean, pleased that the paintwork hasnt got too many scratches or dents however the paintworks still rough as a...
Another little update.
Having purchased some wood trim last year for the M3 which was taking out of the car before I purchased it I was going to get it refurbished as it was a little worse for wear. Then last week a fellow off M3Cutters had purchased a new M3 saloon with the exact wood mine...
Did I say that Danny messed the timing up which affected the power? Well he did in way but it's the consequence of poor timing, not just the timing being out.
Also have you been to holland to have your car mapped by Henk? Granted he's done quite a few calibrations for the RS range but they are...
Indeed it is, mapped by Henk in holland and the cambelt was done by Danny before 519 was created which he fucked up.
yeecup, got anything clever to say or are you just another gullable cs idiot?
I'm all for the RS-2, however my new 182 needs a dephaser so I'll be going with a set of cams as its financially beneficial for me to do so over getting a cambelt done and then buying an RS-2.
Cheers all, indeed good to be back in a RS!
Lol 'Brown Bimmer' you cheeky wotsit!
Engine cover came with the car however wasn't fitted, just need to get some new bolts for it and it'll be back on.
Cheers

Yeah came with an engine cover but not fitted, will be fitting it once i've given the car a full clean. :)
Quite a few plans indeed but hopefully won't look too different from standard when on the road, thats the kind of look i'm going for now rather than trying to stick out.
Indeed the M3 is...
Collected this yesterday afternoon, needs a good clean and going over but much more fun than my previous daily driver.

So after selling the Cup for spares and using the Audi A3 for a while, been wanting to get back into a Clio for a while now. Not having a massive budget (£2000) i've been looking high and low for something thats in good condition mechanically/specced up/uber cheap for what it is. Sure enough...
LOL is all i'll put with that! Won't go into it further than that...
Think personally that 428's are a thing of the past, seeing as the 438 caters for the peak figures as well as smoothing things out at low rpm why would you want the 428's?
Lol, there's no point asking him as he's K-Tec's senior salesman!
Best to wait for a few more results to come out from the GT cams that BTM are dealing with before making the purchase.
Cool,
Indeed I think for a trackcar the 421's are probably best for peak gains with the rough idle. Really want to see a comparison between Freds new cams and these 438's, but trying to get two cars that have the mods to compare maybe difficult.
Re: Any one want to freeze there a**e off watching some rally cars at Goodwood ?
Might have to bail on this now as i've been offered a cheap Brands Hatch Trackday to try out my new car i'm getting on Friday! ;)
Mark needs to say what he ideally wants for it, I know like many others that i'm interested in it regardless of the clocks etc. The car would fit in nicely with the Failsport Fleet, and I have wanted another Cup since ive sold mine!
