Seems the longer this thread stays near the front the more of us Derby lot there are. Group buy on Sunwin Derby and turn it into a proper Renault outlet? lol.
Has anyone tried Looms scrappy by the way for Clio related bits? Im interested in perhaps finding some Clio alloys as a refurb project...
Might have to pass on this. Im heading over Duffield way next Saturday to my mates to wire in my fogs unless anything changes.
What sort of time were we looking at, i might be able todo both. And we are talking 26th right?
Is this the correct code? I just opened my driver door and took a look at the sticker but it had about 9 different codes/serials on it.
FO13729. Does that look right?
Direct Line are nazis when it comes to modifications. Anything that increases performance, value or "disireability" etc they wont touch until your 25.
Which pretty much covers everything except i dunno, steering wheel cover and air fresheners?
Forgive me for being a noob or missing something obvious but how do you find your paint code in order to know which colour it is?
Mine is a bright red Mk2 Ph1 if that means anything to anyone? :P
Hey Ozzy,
Just found another thread:

This user bought the same sideskirts from poland via ebay but got his mate to spray and fit. They seem to have turned out alright.
Thats a good find. Normally you need to change the standard wings to accomodate side skirts.
If you do take the plunge fancy doing a sort of guide with pics on how fitting went? Im reluctant to splash £120 on an untried product personally.
Not spondon related i know but i encountered a yellow 197 F1 on my way to my mates on Saturday along the A6 just outside Matlock Bath. Looked amazing!
Stuff you guys and your 172s ive seen the future! :D
Np dirtydog!
Like i warned the instructions arent exactly clear! Ive seen Lego manuals more in depth :)
From Page2 it looks like those are Renault part numbers? If you went to a dealership and told them the Ph1 part num perhaps they could point you in the direction of the Ph2 equivilant?
I get my mechanic mate todo all my work, he works over at TC Harrison on Pride Park so he just hangs around after his shift and i pay him for parts + something for his help. I tried Sitwell Garage in Spondon once and regreted it! Id imagine Sunwin Derby will just rip me off as much.
Any of you...
Ok fellow Mk2 Ph1 Clio owners; as promised here are Renaults "official" instructions that come with the foglight kit. And as warned its not exactly clear to follow so a copy of the Haynes manual is highly recommeded:

Its in the boot at the moment; i managed the standard > sport (dual headlight) conversion today but only had time to fit the fogs and none of the wiring.
I'll try and scan them tomorrow and reply here with a link or failing that Monday evening at the latest if you can wait :)
I bought a Mk2 Ph1 Foglight kit with all the wiring, relays, stalk, fogs etc off ebay for £60 + £10pnp.
Believe me, looking at the contents of the kit i got theres more to this than merely "plugging in some existing cable". The instructions that Renault supply are also clear as mud, ive seen...
