supermarket fuel is probably the worst fuel ever known to man. i hate it, i mapped my 172 cup with RS tuner and at the time I was using V-Power, now its running tesco Momentum 99 and its still running just as good if not better. Luke

On my 182 when the cover came adrift my ballast broke. That's a headlight out jobby. Best thing is to take the bumper off and swap parts between headlights and you'll see :)

Yes, I said that a replaced the DRIVERS side shaft which is the opposite to yours. May be worth a shot.

When I lowered my 182, I had the same problem when going round sharp left handers and I changed the drivers side driveshaft and it was hanging, solved the problem after. Give that one a go mate. Just remove it you will be able to tell if its worn. Luke

That side is probably the easiest one to do. Try take it out without removing the bumper if its to hard then take it off if its not then put the new one back in. Your not gonna damage the broken bulb anymore.

Go on eBay you can get shallow sump kits for these engines I was gonna get one for my golf.
