Take it out, run a heat sheild in front the pipes to protect it from the heat. Looks much more neat.
There are 3 studs on the bulkhead which you can secure the heat sheild on with.
A car is always worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I would more then happily pay £4k for a mint LY182 just because I think they are mint. So it maybe 'top money' to certain people but it may be a nice price to others.
