Top work Paul, looks like an animal! Might be coming up in the coming months to see if you stretch a few more ponies from the Cup, and would like a passenger ride in this! ;)
Lol I have a good idea about who that is! If he was as good as he makes himself out to be, then why was he dropped by...
Disagree, the FK Konigsports that I have on mine are far greater than the Ktec/Raceland/Vmaxx etc etc. For the money and adjustability the FK Konig's are well worth the money.
Completely agree, some say there good for being 'progessive'. How about just brake smarter? lol
The only way your going to be able to brake harder is with better tyres, funny that people on here buy 4pots for better allround braking but then run average joe tyres!
Go with some CL's Kev, had some on the Cup and they were fantastic! All this rubbish about falling apart still is nonsense, agreed there was a bad batch however that was ages ago...
Havent tried these PF97's but may well do soon, seems like the perfect upgrade to the CL's without wasting money...
Lol oi you lot of bitches! Get out of my thread with your spam and do it in the 'Tom and Ollies' race car thread ;)
Tbf with the way things are going with the Cup Ollie, I might brave it and get a race license :)
Just seemed weird as I know the fk's can go reasonably stiff and thought it would give it quite a bit of understeer being that stiff. I use my fk's near on fully stiff on the rear and almost fully soft on the front, doesn't seem to feel sloppy but gives a very sharp turn in.
Out of interest...
Not a fan of red wheels, especially on a monaco as they dont even compliment each other. Has turned this car from a nicely done subtle car to a 'look at me!' silly looking car.
Seeing as there all fixed damping and no doubt not alot greater than each other i'd just go with the vmaxxs as there the cheapest. Had them on my car before the FK Konigsports and were alright on the road and average on track as there pretty soft.
Cheers all! TBF it did look a lot better bar the wheels than it does now, looks a state atm!
Must give the car a clean and sort a few things out, then get it booked in soon for a cage! :)
Depends on what application you'll be using them for, I went with the Konigsports for the adjustability of dampening as I use mine on track. They do rust quite badly (only had mine 6 months) so if your going for just lowering the car then go for the Silverlines.
That looks fantastic Dave! You should do that to the trophy, could make that look great also!
Can do my Clio whilst your there also ;) Knew Ollie would infect you with his OCD cleaning bug! Lol
Lol! Threatened, never! When your quicker than me and can actually take some pictures i'll be a little threatened ;)
When rollcage fundage is made available then she'll become swiss cheese on the metal department ;)
Love you more! xxx
Nah man same wheels that were on the Megane, they are the second set of 2118's though ;) Also whats up with the Clio mate? Not got that engine in there yet?
Thank you sir!
Proper shed aint she! ;) Indeed it shall find its way up there within the week, shall talk to you about it more at...
And Part 2 of the update!
Was a little bored so decided to do a bit on the clio. Lost quite a bit of interest in it recently, mainly down to the fact that i've working/staying up in London for the past 6 weeks so when I have been back home i've just been chilling out.
Decided to cut a few...
So a bit of an update, will do it over 2 posts as I forgot to right in Donnington!
So me and a few of the other locals took the treck up to Donnington for another trackday, all in all the best circuit i've done to date! So much fun and with it ending up being a perfect day the car was flying...
