Looks fantastic now matey, but then I prefer a more clean OEM+ style car than it looked like before. White turinis are probably the worst colour you could paint them also, just look rubbish in comparsion to grey and silver.
Looks like its leaking out of the rocker cover bolts like the 172/182's do, like the chap said above. Just check it and drive it, then get it booked into Renault if its under warrenty!
Bolt it to the dash but from underneath? Find some redundunt holes on the bulkhead to cabletie it to? Remember it may not be that hot but the window will aid as a magnifying glass in a way.
The wires went all sticky when I had no dash in my Mk1 16v, so yeah I think I would know...
Erm no...
Should of mounted the fusebox undernear the dash instead of onto it, looks silly and what happens if we get some more good weather and it gets f'ing hot inside the car? Could melt the parts of the outer casing of the loom.
Yawn, normally i'd agree with you however the fact this is his trackcar and he has a daily already means your just posting drivel for the sake of posting it...
This! If you have a daily then go to town, exactly like what this chaps said I love how mine is now. Makes the experience of driving it far more exciting and entertaining!
If you having all the interior out permanently, like all seats/all doorcards/rooflining and keeping it out then you can remove all of the sound deadening and remove any bracketry thats redundant. Also take the dash out and loose all the sound deadening behind there, there's quite a bit of it...
This, after a few trackdays you have a rough idea of what pressures to run (obviously depending on conditions) but my Cup goes out on between 22/23psi front/25/26psi rear on a warm trackday. I've never had problems with 'shredding' them because they were cold/underinflated like some people have...
Looking good! I quite like these, I wont lie I do have a little soft spot for them. The 1.8 16v is probably one of the best engines out of the range bar the C20 LET they put in these as well, my friends one interiorwise was rather nice also with half leather/alcantara seats.
Looking good fletch! Interior has changed a lot of the last month or so and has taken a big step in the right direction! Was thinking about coming to goodwood this weekend to see this and you guys but have already have plans for GTI springfest at santa pod! :(
Get tuition then, I was very on/off and being hot into corners when I started doing trackdays but with a few good bits of tuition and having had Tony Hunter at the last 3 trackdays have helped me no end! I now reckon I could lap quicker in standard car in comparison to what I was before being a...
Lol at cheap coilovers being the cause of spinning....
Its either damaged/broken suspension or just lack of talent(lifting off/braking too late/being ham fisted)...
