An enhancement is what you need as has been said, I doubt you'd notice the difference* between a £750 detail and correction and an enhancement from a hobbyist like Scrooge. If you just want most of the swirls (the deeper ones will remain under a light enhancement), you really won't go wrong...

It sounds like guided access is what you need. It limits what the user can do on the iPad I.e just let's them enter and email and store it. So you just need to find an app where there's a dialogue box to fill in and a enter button. Would the apple numbers (excel for apple) be any use for that?
