In internet speak, ff means cup packed... So ff suspension would mean cup suspension. Which would be the same thing.
And 172s weren't available with the cup packs, there was only the 172 and the 172 cup.
Warrenty, on a 172? Which they stopped selling in 2003?
I've not read them in a while but I'm sure the rotary guide covers a bit more than the da guide, especially the zenith technique.
I could be wrong mind but reading it won't work.
You've missed out the actual cutting stage of the polishing.
Vertical and horizontal passes at speed 3 solely to spread the polish around. Little to no pressure.
Same again but speed 4.5 with more pressure. This is breaking down the polish.
Same again on speed 6 with more/heavy pressure...
Read the stickies (both rotary an da) at the top of this section.
Are you breaking down the polish then working it and finally buffing it? (That's a very lazy attempt at explaining the zenith technique sorry)
I didn't say they were cheap, they just look cheap lol.
I've seen some older cars which should look quite respectable (Mercs, beakers etc) with these fitted and they look like a 17 year old has got hold of their parents car and wants it to look like an r8. Because drl.
Just my opinion though
Good plans for anthracite mirrors and handles.
I wouldn't do the diamonds though to keep it looking oem.
Do you have any more shots of it from the back, front and some artsy angles to show off the stance on spacers and standard springs? I quite fancy spacers but I'm not sure how it'll looks...
Didn't Daniel apply it to HOU then sell it to gherkin, and it's still working 6 months on?
Mix up a dilution, spray on and pressure wash off. It works by magic lol
Yup, that's a good shopping list.
Someone will be along to confirm/add their two penneth shortly though.
Tough coat is a piece of piss to apply, with 3-4 months longevity off the top of my head.
I found auto finesse spirit to fair very well last winter. I Applied in November and removed...
Layering wax over sealant can shorten the life of the wax, it's not really necessary to apply wax over a sealant. If you get either, just top them up after a few months or when need be.
I'd recommend buying a sealant or wax and putting the money saved to iron x and tardis. The less contact you...
Do people not understand the meaning of club stand lol.
You're showing your support and participating in the club. The cars don't have to be concourse condition.
I quite fancy making a weekend of this and having a go on the track, it looked brilliant fun this year.
How dare you?! Of course not!
Lol Naah, if you're in the club you'll be allowed on the stand :)
I'm not saying for definite, but I'd imagine the loom would be different.
When I looked into fitting an optional extra Bluetooth head unit to my car, I found the mic wouldn't work as it's run off a different loom
Yeah, I'll tag you in a thread to show what I'm on about.
Fill it with the paint, flat it back then polish it up.
Give me a min or so to find the thread
Respray I'm afraid.
Alternatively you can touch up the scratch, flat it back and polish it to make it less noticeable.
There are a few people local to you who'd be able to do the latter, or at least flat it back and polish it if you touch it in yourself
As said, that's what it's meant to do, if you use an open ended hose or watering can, you can almost dry the car by pouring water onto it :)
And as dave said, look at dual action polishers, using the Cs discount, you can get the das6 pro for £105
