Ah right it must of been around 16kg then, with the wheel weighing around 7-8kg.
My old 15" Rota's weighed just over 5kg so it's reasonably heavy in comparison.
I have a set of 15x7J and a set of 15x6J 2118's, and the 6J's are considerably lighter! Plus the 6J's I have, there were only 24 wheels ever made in that spec ;)
Warren as much as your very knowledgeable, I think you've been unlucky with some of the products you've owned for previous RS's and you now tarnish the various companies for it. There obviously was a bad batch of CL pads and you must of had a set of them but to be fair i've had a set and had...
Strange as I recently got the EBC bluestuff pads off godspeed and I actually rate them! And i've used a few different types of pads including CL RC6's.
Nice amount of power! After being a passenger in RSTunings old SC'd clio the power is more than useable, with the power being so linear you really dont realise how fast your going until you look at the speedo!
A set of eibach sportlines would give it that little drop without ruining a good handling setup. Pm Sir_Dave as he has trophy shocks with eibach springs on his trophy, seems to get on with it well!
Yeah will make more of a difference, with an Rstuner they always seem to overfuel a little so that when people do modifications to them the modifications make more of a difference power wise.
Not sure about the amount of gains said, but I did get a good gain myself on my clio with the...
Re: destined for the track
You know what I think I prefer it with the standard wheels you have on now in comparison to the turinis! As you said get some recaros and that'll be lovely, oh other than that 90's style front splitter ;) Get a carbon one!
Re: Burpspeed Go-Karting Meet - PAYMENT IN CASH ONLY ON THE DAY!!
Can only echo what everyone else has said, great day and cheers to those that organised it!
I must admit I liked the 'limp mode'!
Lol! 350lbft of torque!
Torques definately wrong, should be nearer 150-160 lbft. Power delivery looks alright and power itself looks about right for a 172.
7kg's sounds about similar to mine, ill get mine on the scales and see! Getting the inner boot skin taken out of mine soon, wont be long before i'm as light as yours ;) Though I still have no cage :(
You got a carbon bonnet also eh? Same here! ;) How heavy is yours? Mine seems lighter than the standard bonnet but not a light as I thought though, someone told me that its a GRP bonnet with a carbon skin on top...
