One mans driving hard and "ragging it" is another mans sunday stroll , you have to massively overengineer a westfield if you push it hard on track where as road abuse is nothing in comparison no matter how hard you think you drive
Car dashboards pass a similar head impact test , how hard are they ? They are hard enough to absorb the right amount of energy to sustain the least injury.
use the fia stuff on the road its worse as you won't have a helmet on if you happen to be in a shunt and hitting your head on it would not be great .
the density of the fia stuff is correct as to not cause a brain injury , pip lagging as some use is s**t , don't use that , it might seem ok in...
He very much knows what he is doing when it comes to hifi :-)
And its in a lovely showroom
I am sure you could try your 40 quid beats against a 4k pair of abyss to see the difference
As your in essex it may not be to far to trek over to my mates shop and try loads of headphones
http://www.highendheadphones.co.uk/
That way you would be able to demo lots of sets with your music
Only people trying to hard leave it bare , real ballers get it painted

Most of the exterior we painted but left some contrasting bits
Thats the one we have on our cup , quiet ,no drone and pleasant little sporty note pretty much quieter than standard.
They do get a little noisier with mileage and ours has done about 50k in the last couple of years
Carbon becomes an obsession ... i ended up building a whole car from it apart from the obvious bits like engine ,suspension and the tube frame
Nice looking car , but dont be afraid to paint the bonnet !!
It was a 12p a litre voucher I have several .I think 4 they have sent me .... and I only run 95 ron and the car does 30ka year on it at 40mpg just fine
because its virtually impossible to not have usage outside of the plan if you actually use it .....
its the same with them all , but my bills are pretty similar month on month .
how often do you call your answerphone ?
thats the one most people forget about , and nowadays most operators charge for you to pick up messages
add answerphone plus a few 0843 numbers and the odd pic message and your into extras in a fairly decent way .
its no different on o2 or vodaphone...
Not sure why you would over a caymen r , the lotus has feel but the i cant get over the s**t gearbox. It's amazingly s**t, and I drove the 'uprated' one. The over servo'd brakes. The ever present smell of glue. The exposed screw heads and bit of foam wedged in gaps that remind you that it was...
its the only version of the evora that looks ok,
Waity your correct the finish on a Lotus isn't anything like the german levels (or for that matter any other manufacturer) and the service and warranty from lotus dealers is pretty poor .
If only it had been an orange one :)
Have to say i swear by Denso's too , always had em in all my race engines both 2 and 4 stroke
and i am more convinced that a plug failure issue to running too hot than it being a det issue ......
Where is our 4k joker now ?
Even my guess of 8k was more than 50% under.
It was close to my volvo damage at 18k which also had rear damage
Obviously its a write off at that value
Dave silly question, are they the right temp plugs for the application ? eg when highly modded then a different plug is often specified(a cooler running plug) to stop that ?
not the same car type of even forced induction but this will give you an idea about plug temps...
Put it this way , ours is on about 85k , is a rare late one with climate , has the wheels coated in anthricite , contisport tyres all round , had all belts done , just had a service , all brakes rebuilt in the last year , all suspension rebuilt in the last year , sabelt wheel and boss...
I have never been dazzeled by any drl and i drive all alot most days
And my last 2 volvos have had drls and volvo stopped the always on headlights years ago
Its the position of the drop link on to the bar that makes a difference . the further down the arm the stiffer the turning force as you have already said .
the drop link angles will change as the car rolls side to side anyway so don't worry about the angle too much .
You can corner weight any coilover shock as the platforms all adjust , the adjustment you refer to on the bilstein is to the damping .
coilover shocks come as
non adjustable
single adjustment of compression and rebound
2 way which is seperate compression and rebound
3 way which is high and low...
The 3 that get done are duratec , k20a and audi , the most popular is the cheapest , k20a was the first comercial conversion done and cheapest ,though no engine swap is cheap
if looking at Honda converted elises , ask who did the conversion ans which kit they used
.also ask if it had a legitamet cat fitted and passes a real MOT
there are lots of very very shoddy conversions with Bent MOT's out there as the honda conversion has been around for a long time
other...
