Spend a couple of hundred quid on the M50 manifold conversion if your after more power Marco.
The e36 328i's were purposely strangled from the factory back in the late 90's in order to sneak under the 194bhp insurance limit (hence the 193 figure). They did this by fitting a ridiculously small...
Nothing much left to be fair now. If i was going to keep it long term i would throw an LSD in the back and maybe look at swapping the interior although the turqouise has really grown on me!
Whenever my clio sells (could be in 5 years at this rate) i'm going to be looking at changing the '28...
Cheeris Dan! Your bean still looks mint.
As far as tyres go, it all depends what wheels are on there. Mine came as standard with balloon-spc 15s, but now runs 18s. A standard sport should come with 17s.
For the standard Sport BBS RC041's tyres in 225/45/17 are about £75 a corner for half...
So this finally happened a few days ago. Not had the chance to get any decent photos yet, so got this earlier today before doing an oil change:
Rears probably need to come up a touch, they scrub over really large bumps, fronts dont catch but dont have much room left at all, already had to...
The chap that produces them, sells the kit I have for £410 delivered. I got a silly deal from a chap that had bought the kit and never fitted it.
It almost sounds like you already have the m50 manifold but i dont expect you do. Be prepared for a shock then when you find out how much the...
I can testify to the m50 manifold making a drastic change.
Took the plunge on an Alpina527 M50 kit with a big bore throttle body and big bore ASC throttle body, and it was worth every penny.
Suddenly the power keeps coming when you go past 4.5k.
Great mod for the money.
Mine is nikasil, had a full BMW test in 2001 and reported all clear with even compression tests over all cylinders.
Runs sweet as a nut with 65k on the clock.
If its been checked and all is clear, dont let it put you off.
Saner - the Dave F is basically a K&N cone filter and a heat shield, i...
Mint.
Really love the colour, just looks ridiculously tidy.
And for gods sake get some sort of induction kit on there. They make a lovely noise without all the sound cancelling baffles the std airbox has.
Thanks man.
I'm staggered at how little interest there has been in it. Had literally 2 people come and look at it since it was put up for sale around April.
2 Days left.
Bit of a bargain for the history and money spent.

Tom
Lovely saner, makes me really need some m side strips.
riz - the shrouding thing is to do with the headlights. If you look at mine, on the dipped beam (outer most), i removed the glass lenses then fitted some pre-cut shrouds which i sprayed black. They are basically a piece of shaped metal...
Cheers Tom, the exhaust was via ebay, although im relatively certain it only comes with the decat and you cant fit it without as the pipe lengths are different to standard.
I got mine for a completely silly price, £220 brand new and delivered for the whole system.
Plates are here. Fully bsau...
Its a replica of the full Active Autowerke system with their decat track pipe.
The fit is awful being a replica but the quality seems good and it sounds mental.
I do love just how solid everything feels compared to the clio, mines only got 65k on it yet even with the dreaded nikasil block, it feels pretty much bulletproof. Isnt the original suspension Bilstein on the sports?
It took me 5 months of searching every single day to find a decent one, and...
Already running 13mm spacers on the front, they caught like a b**ch on the back, so hopefully going to get a pair of 10s, and with the bit of camber coilovers will provide they should just tuck.
Coilovers in 2 weeks i promise!
Ends in 30 mins,
Also got a ph1 throttle body ending very soon:

Completely moritifed for him, but surely people must know Rusty can't die.
Regardless of what you think of the design choices, the work and effort put into it all has been comletely off the scale.
Everyone who likes cars should read that build thread.
Cheers man.
Front bumper was £100 brand new via design911/ppcgb and I painted it myself.
The rear was a used one from ebay for £75. There's a few scrapes and blemishes on it so I might try blow over it in the future.
