172/182 Roll Cage... How much did you pay?

Caged themselves are probably cheaper. I have the 6 point Caged cage and it is a brilliant piece of kit.

Gripper Diff where to buy from?

Speak to @NorthloopCup on here. Corby Motorsport are good, they did my re-plating of mine last year.

    CSS15 feedback thread

Just to add my opinion. Which is little as it is identical to what Dave has said above. It was a great weekend, worked well in my opinion and offered pretty much something for everyone. Well organised, good, sociable bunch and I'll certainly be back next year.

Can i only change the dephaser? or a whole timing job's needed?

I do pretty much most things on mine. Except the belts. They aren't' the easiest of jobs and if you get it wrong it is more than a little frustrating. Being abroad does complicate things though. Sadly, even with the correct tools and the guide, it isn't easy to do. Else we'd all be buying the...

Can i only change the dephaser? or a whole timing job's needed?

With all due respect, if you're asking if you can just change the dephaser on its own or not, leads me to say a belt change and getting the timing right may be a bridge too far..... I'd take it to one of the specialists on here. For the extra £100 it's worth it for the piece of mind / lack of...

Best suspension to run slicks on ?

Yep. Although any tyre put through significant heat cycles will go off quickly. The Direzzas were as grippy for me after 15 minutes of use (the end of each session) at Goodwood at the weekend, as they were in the first minute of those sessions. I did start them very low pressure though, and have...

Wanting more power - Q's inside

Not strictly true. I wanted a fun track day toy which; a) Is reasonably cheap to repair and run on track (15 inch tyres, cheap brake pads etc). I had a 911 C4S before the clio, and took it on track twice and discovered there was no way I could fund tracking it as much as I wanted to. So it got...

Best suspension to run slicks on ?

I feel the Direzzas are better. Seem to last longer for me too.

Best suspension to run slicks on ?

Have you got a cage (a proper one, not a show one)? I wouldn't run slicks without one personally. I'm running ASTs with custom spring rates, and various other bits and considering slicks next year. Bought mine from J-tech automotive, excellent service. I'd also look to do a full suspension...
