They say the the standard elbow is restrictive and creates turbulence because of the flexy part. I dont believe you can buy the race filter either as Jms had that made. But dont quote me on that.
Just to filter anything from going into the crankcase I presume?!?! Tbh you want to speak to them...
I must admit, if you brought all the bits seperately it would maybe cost more!
Airbox - £60
Filter - £40
Silicon Bend - £50
Crankcase Breather Filter - £10
Total -£160
And Jms are doing it for £148 and you dont have to do the running around to get the bits. Very good price if you ask me!
I'm all for the home made induction kit like mine, but it does mean relocating the battery.
Other than that i'd go for the JMS Induction set up, very good piece of kit and the graphs prove to give decent gains for half the price of the expensive kits!
Wont cover parts that have been affected by modifications. The AA called me about 6 months ago about this warrenty, I didnt want it but they had to get them clarify about modifications as mine is modified. They said if the part that has broken is modified they wont pay out for it. So i'm...
Early morning drive for me, isn't worth staying up there the night before for a days car show! Plus the drive was fun last year!

I think this is the case for most Renault Dealers unless you know them well, then they look after you! I needed 8 of them white plastic gromits that hold the screws for the interior, the guy dug me out about 15 or so and didnt charge me for them!
As much as like the F1's and it does look alright, the standard BBS' look far greater. Get them refurbished and back on I reckon. Do really like the exclusives though!
Tbh the last 2 MOT's I've had have been at Renault, never had a problem myself. Theres always potential of bad things happening like the scratched wing. Could happen anywhere, at least there going to pay for it.
Have you looked in the engine bay Ben? The Ecu bracket may have snapped like mine did and it made a really annoying noise similar to what your saying.
Nick
Wheels wont fit as the centre bores are too small, can be machined out though. That is only if they are solely designed for VW fitment, some wheels come with a bigger centre bore with spigot rings to fit to the required car/centre bore.
Yeah i'd say there a dark anthracite, slightly darker than the Trophy Turinis.
Turinis are nice looking wheels, but overrated! All about Ultraleggeras :)
Oi pipe down with the Wills comments! :)
Happy to get the car logged, whatever that is! :) Will have to fill me in with what that all means, be it you, James or Danny! Will come down soon and have a chat and get the ball rolling ;)
