I get this all the time with my Cup, as well as when moving away slowly and stopping I get this knocking.... Checked all the mounts and any big bolts underneath/in the engine bay and still get it, just something i've got used to yet nothing has broken yet so it can't be that bad!
Get some side on pictures to show how mch there in the arches, they really dont look that bad from the other picture, just lower it and it should look alright!
Looks really good pal, glad your happy with them! Really sets off your car now, the best rep on here! Doesn't look like it needs spacers on the front from that angle either, just get the rear decked!
Nick
Yeah standing still in traffic used to be quite bad for me also! But once your moving again its amazing how quickly the temps drop! Didnt take any measurements, just purely trial and error. After playing about with it and looking through the grill with a light, its probs about 5mm from touching...
Tbh I dont think it looks that bad! Very brave doing it to a very new car, but with the right set of wheels it could really set off the car! Even if no one wants it with the wrap on, it can be taken off easy enough...
Absolute idiot comment from the 2nd post :clown:
Good luck with the sale!
Cheers pal! Na i'm not into my underbonnet cosmetics that much but before I painted some things and 90k miles of not being cleaned, something needed doing!
Do you find your heatshield gets really hot being a metal? And stays really hot?
Nick
Some people think it would reflect but when I had a metal heatshield, once it was hot it stayed hot for a while! With plastic and two layers side by side like mine, one side gets warm whereas the otherside stays cool!
Opps! Double post!

Tbh with you there isn't a lot more space where the hot air could get into... With a decent sized caf your more likely i'd imagine to be pushing the hot air away from the areas...
Almost finished in there now... Just need to crack on some more with polishing the RenaultSport and repainting the induction pipe after scratching it making the perspex heatshield!
Next things on the agenda for the engine bay...
New coolant bottle and coolant flush
New oil cap
And...
Well its 4k for the conversion, and selling my car too for about 4k also... There isn't a lot for £8,000 that will be quicker/handle as well imo. Plus with the car you have at the moment you know what you've fixed and and whats next. With a new car you could have loads of problems! Plus all the...
Looks very quick! I've always said to myself that I wouldn't go forced induction on my clio, would just buy a faster car. However for the price of the kit and the very usable power there isn't many things you can get with the money spent I think!
Not for me, just dont suit the car. Plus the fact i've never liked any alpina wheels doesnt help... Csl wheels on the other hand would look pretty trick, I like them wheels a lot!
I personally think that them stripes look a bit tame and dont really suit it. However there there was some similar to the R27 graphics I saw in one Renault dealership and it looked sweet with the red also. If I can find a picture i'll post it up.
