Thanks Rich, i was in exactly the same boat. Bizzarely its a very rare colour for the valvers and it does suit it quite well.

Ive got a hill power ik on my valver, which was on the car when i bought it. Been very happy with the noise and performance etc, but the foam filter itself is looking distinctly the worse for wear. Its the original kit they made with the ramair filter mated to a semi-enclosed fibreglass...

Didnt know you had a valver paul, mines got a decat and magnex cat-back, but its also got a semi enclosed hill power IK which will probably bring the figure down. Getting PGTI interested would be great

thanks for the response, much to my annoyance i found this out yesterday when i figured out how to get acces to the unit. Im guessing the only way to get clear indicators is to buy a clear unit from some aftermarket business then?

The whining is very quiet and it only does it in 2nd. Oh well. How much would it cost to get a new box put in?

If you turn off the stereo and stay very very quiet theres a very faint whining in 2nd yeh
