I loved V-Rally...great for split screen!! My fave overall though was the original Colin McRae....so many memorable stages like the muddy course through Wales! I did really like Dirt 2 though in a more casual,pick up and play way....wasnt too keen on all that Gymkhana rubbish that came into it..

Its ironic that right at the end of the PS3 life cycle the best racing game by far comes out - just picked this up yesterday....the actual racing is superb. The best AI ive come across - feels like youre driving against human players. The AI battle each other aswell...i saw a car roll out ahead...

Can i just ask quickly was a totally standard 182 lower than a non RS Clio? As in different shorter springs,or were they the same standard springs?

Was the standard springs for a non RS clio the same as a standard 182? They have fitted standard ones and they do look pretty high...

Yeah as mentioned,this game is not about earning 'XP' to upgrade,unlock cars or customise - its about racing,pure & simple. As far as ive gathered,all cars and tracks are unlocked straight away,so you can go and do anything,which is refreshing. On some racing games i never get round to driving...

Police chases are so much fun in first person hehe. The improvement in graphics just makes you appreciate how much detail has been put into the game - problem is you forget quickly what the last gen looked like and think it was like this all along ha....the water/lighting effects are stunning...
