See I don't understand that 100%.
At one time, it was a car that took up all of your money, time, patience, sweat & tears. And in return it gave you enjoyment. Even though it wasn't my car anymore, in my heart it still was my car. And to see it like that after the 2 years I'd had with it was...
I don't think I would have either if it wasn't for buying the house. There was no way I could have kept it really without struggling to get by massively!
I saw my old Clio last night (for those who don't know it: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?602260-The-Clio-is-gone).
This car was my absolute pride and joy with no expense spared, and as you can see from the pictures it was a minter.
So last night - wheels kerbed to buggery...
Love this car mate. I think GPs look epic on red wheels, ties everything together a little better. Love this one from MT on red Ultraleggeras!
If you're ever up north you'll have to give me a shout, would love a ride out in this!
While I was at the local DVLA office yesterday I spotted the rarest Renaultsport model in existence. Only 1 ever made.
That's right - a Liquid Yellow 172 Trophy.
;)
Only just seen this mate as I've been on holiday. Looks lovely!
I'm still loving the Cooper S. It's costing me a fortune in fuel though as I can't stop driving the bloody thing!
Dave I'm reasonably sure I have the second one you posted in my Cooper S. I'll check when I get home and confirm, not 100% sure as it was bought by the previous owner only a few months ago. It looks the same anyway.
All I'll say is it's epic! Does everything very well and the sound is superb.
Re: A Mini Adventure ...
Out of interest Dave, how would you compare it to the 197 you owned briefly?
Only reason I ask is that they are 2 possibilities for my next car in the next few months.
Car looks great by the way and the latest additions sound like a great improvement.
That was just polished by hand and Banana Armour applied by hand afterwards. Very simple and great results!
If you want me to give you a hand just let me know. I've got a big pot of Banana Armour - you're quite welcome to try it.
