TBH it's not a must have for me but a nice to have.
I can browse internet and emails quicker
I can copy photos over from my camera and show them to clients in a fancy format and without lugging a laptop around
I can hand it over to the kids and get an hours peace and quiet
I can take over my...
Mine also has bleeding. I thought they all did TBH. I only notice it on black backgrounds... which I rarely have so can't be arsed to change it. Maybe in a month or two when they are in stock and don't have bleeding.
I got mine from appelhoes.nl. It looks like they're out of black until 20th of may. You can also try the switcheasy European site. It's still an awesome case.

Re: iPad "Must Have" Apps
Dropbox is handy for getting e-books, presentations or photos on your iPad when you can't use iTunes. There has been some things in the news recently about the security of it, but I don't use it for confidential documents so am not too worried.
Sod it, I let one guy have them for his site on the promise that he gave me the credit and a link to my own site (too bad I still don't have any content on it!)

Some media shots I've just done after spotting a massive black cloud behind our house. 3000 views on flickr in 30 minutes and loads of people who want to have the photos for their website etc. Oddly, nobody wants to pay. I don't know how people make a living out of journo photos. Not something...
You're good to go then! :)
What do you think of the Sigma 50?
I had a Tokina 12-24 and had really bad vignette until about 18mm. I think you'll find 17mm on the 5D insanely wide anyway. :)
I just use the 24-105 f4L and the 70-200 f2.8L IS MkII. I had a 50 f1.4 but the focussing on it went dodgy so I got rid. I'll probably pick up an 85mm prime at some stage as I do miss the wide aperture for some stuff but for the rest I am covered. I almost went for a 16-35, but I just wouldn't...
They are fantastic cameras. The image quality is on another level overall, view an image at 100% for pixel peeping and it still looks as sharp as it did at normal resolution, which is something that my old 40D never managed.
It certainly performs well at high ISO. I don't ever worry about...
I've had a play with a couple and the iPad 2 was the clear winner for me. Wifi only as you can turn your iPhone into a hotspot and connect with that. (jailbreak may be required).
