    Getting link from FTP upload

Some servers are case sensitive. Could be that the folder name or file name needs a capital in there? If the folder "Files" is in the same directory as your index.htm or home.htm, then the link should be correct.

    iOS "must have" apps

Yep, definitely the iPad version. The fonts are just a bit different. You have to look closely to notice it, but it is not as sharp as normal text in the email app etc.

    iOS "must have" apps

The Facebook app on the iPad seems very pixelated. Even the keyboard looks a bit crap.

    First Portrait Session Help.

Either the 70-300 or the 50mm would be fine. Using the flash outdoors on a sunny day helps the images really pop too, especially using the sun for rimlight on the hair, with the flash balancing the exposure. Portraits work well when you separate the subject from the background so the longer...

Try resetting all settings to standard? If you shoot in RAW, do you still have the same cast?

    Anyone got a Canon 7d?

DK, wasn't your 24-70 sent back by a customer as he wasn't happy with the quality or something? The 17-55 is a great lens, but a perfectly working 24-70 should easily match it in terms of IQ.

    Anyone got a Canon 7d?

The 5DII (& classic as they're effectively the same) AF is not as bad as people make out. You are limited to using the centre point if you want to accurately use servo focus, but it can keep up with most subjects without a problem. A 1DII/III/IV/ or 7D will definitely have the upper hand, but...

    The RenaultSport Megane Appreciation Thread

^^ Agree! There is no real noticeable difference in ride with H&R. Definitely not crashy. Eibachs are standard on cups/R26 etc iirc.

    Lost iPhone 4

If you use an exchange email account on your phone, it is possible to remotely wipe it through OWA or the admin console. I'm careful not to piss off Sys admin these days.

    Cannon D60

As Paul pointed out, there did used to be a D60. If it's a 60D for that price, stay well clear, it wont be working, if it's the 60D, stear well clear as the cheapest models available now are so much better and £170 is way over the odds. Ignore all of the above if it is a Nikon

CS Gold Megan the 16v Dynamique (pic heavy)

A tow strap permanently fixed to the front of a Megane just makes it look like you are waiting for the inevitable to happen. It looks a million times better than it did when you had the tiny wheels on it though. Good turn around. P.S. Is your front bumper not sitting straight? They are simple...

    Remote Viewing and conrol

You want to send the video to two screens, so you will need to have either a graphics card or external box which can split the video. What do you want to do with it? Watch films etc or actually use it as a PC for browsing? By the time you have invested in video cards/ cabling etc, you would...

    Data Recovery

If you have only just deleted them, then you can try something like Recuva on your PC. Every change you make in the meantime will run the risk of loosing the photos though. If you are on windows 7 with system restore enabled, then you might have the "previous versions" enabled. Right click...

remote access - work users (x10)

We use the RDP option for a couple of users who need access to specific applications that can't be offered in IE. Coupled with on demand RSA tokens, it works reasonably well. We have a "guarantee to the front door of the building" policy though, which means that if a users own machine at home...
