Some old guy managed to park his Pug in the canal...
26 views, mostly from twitter. Terrible quality too, but ISO12800 and handheld 1/25 at 200mm was pushing the cameras limits a bit.

Lol at pirates of Amsterdam. They're called "zwarte pieten" (black Peter) and are the helpers (slaves) that give out presents for Sinterklaas (saint Nic). People protest about the unpolitical correctness of it every year, but it's tradition....
Cheers... large files take you a while then!
I have everything at home wired up with 1GB/s but my WD media player, whilst having a 1GB/s connection, is limited to around 10-12mb by the processor of the unit. I was hoping that the Netgear did much better.
Agree, I just gave up with the disc thing and downloaded it. It didn't take long and I dont have a quota. :)
I'm stuck on the mission where you have to shoot the runners with the A10... I hit them dead on all the time but the f*****s wont die.

I also had a go with a 28-300 and had the same experience as Nick. The IQ was poor and the thing is silly heavy. I'd go for a 100-400 over it.
The 17-55 should definitely come along just for the wide(ish) angle landscapes.
Look forward to seeing the shots when you get back. It's somewhere...
The app "Portfolio" does a decent enough job. You can lock it so that people can only browse and can't mess things up too.
Just the iPad native photo app with the photos in different folders is also a free alternative.
I paid for a decent one (b&w) but rarely use it these days unless it's raining or I'm on the beach. I have lens hoods which offer more protection from impact than a filter can.
Yep, POTN is already full of the rubbish. "what will you sell to fund the 1DX", "which lenses should I get for my 1DX", "who will get the first 1DX".... I'd hate to be a mod there. Too many mongs, although there are also some really talented and helpful posters too.
The number of "what lens...
Not so much fanboys as for bread and butter photographers/ paps I would have thought. I'm very curious to know how it performs though.
Mirrorless APS-C potentially, but I can't see Canon jumping on the 4/3 bandwagon.
The Canon 1D X. Canons answer to pretty much anything, just a pity about the price.

Does anybody here use Bloxx or Clearswift (either as admin or users)? We are looking at a change and I was after some feedback from anybody who may have used either in the past couple of years.
Thanks!
