I have to agree mate. I'm roughly 5 days and 10 hours in and just don't want it to end. Really hope the DLC next year adds more cool stuff to it.

There's still a build limit though (which is annoying!). I'm just stocking up on resources and building large bases / defences at each settlement now. Finding it quite therapeutic ;)

Upgrade it with the targeting lock ability. Fire and forget:)

Things like Strength, Charisma, Intelligence with a little luck. I then upgraded things such as lock picking, hacking and the ability to fast travel when over loaded with junk. It all depends how you want to play the game I guess!

Level 68 now. Just had an epic battle.

Another tip: If you set up beacons, keep track as to which locations you did. I've gone back to find 15+ settlers standing around doing FA. So tend to send them to other settlements that have less people.

yup. You can adjust the height. There's also a concrete one which I used to plug the gaps at the Castle.

There's a wooden floor item you can use which is on stilts. Ideal for that type of surface.

Starlight Drive In. massive flat area to build. I'd recommend suitable defences as well. Spectacle Island is HUGE, so also an ideal spot.

Its worth doing. I make a fair bit from purified water now. Also have some pumps at my Drive Through base and on the Island.

Thought I'd put a few pics up of my main base. Tip: Lots of water pumps makes purified water in your workshop that you can sell (keeps the money coming in!). Also noticed the pumps / weapons fail when it rains, so most of it is under now cover. But its still a work in progress. I'm getting...

Try bringing up the load menu. Should say there.

Will be interesting to see what else they release for it next year. I'm 107 hours in (god knows how) and there still seems so much to investigate.

I did that car park the other day:) Also at the same level as you and think I'm getting close to the final storyline, but trying to hold off as long as I can;) I've found the Power Armour more useful when going out to collect loads of junk.

Just found a really useful video on improving armour. I had no idea you could do this to such an extent.

It gets harder the more I level up, even with powerful weapons surprisingly.

Levelling up allows you to select more perks, improving your capabilities as you progress through the story. I've done it through doing loads of side missions (killing, unlocking etc). Don't rush the story, enjoy it :)

Currently level 52 and taking it a little easier, exploring more etc.

Stick one of those radio masts in the larger settlements. That will encourage settlers to turn up. You can then divert them to other settlements that are lower on population. Another tip is when you get to the Island, build the large water pumps. That will create a faster income of water which...

Stopped at 49 because 50 was sooooo difficult to do.

Let me know what you find. I do know that when you have supply lines setup, caps slowly appear in the workshop as an income.
