You have a nice camera so invest in glass.

They only do one for canon I think. Regarding off camera flash, you can buy a wireless trigger for the flash as well. That's what I used to use.

I only shoot a couple of times a month at the mo. Did a nice glamour shoot though on saturday with Terrie Hawkes and then a family shoot sunday.

Couldn't agree more. I was the unofficial tog at a friends we'd in last year when I first took up photography. Stressful and tiring kinda covers it. Would never be in a rush to do another and certainly not as the main tog.

I only ever shoot with my 24-105. Brilliant lens.

Congrats. I have that flash and a Jessops one. I'd recommend the Jessops one if I'm honest, as it's cheaper and does a decent job. Infact I'm probably gonna sell my 430 as I just never use it. Only use my Lencarta Safari ringflash or a Elinchrom Dlite 100's for shoots now.

Ping me a line if u need any help. You may need more than a flash gun for lighting tho. Ring flashes are awesome, or studio lighting. Perhaps look at hiring a studio for a few hours, as you'll also benefit from someone there doing all the lighting arrangements so u can get on and shoot.

Cropped or full frame sensor?

Parallels 9 is even faster. I'd deff recommend it.

Safari is definitely faster.

Cheers mate. Nope not yet. I tend to either use a ring flash or single beauty dish for lighting. I like to keep things simple, but I like your thinking.

I own the majority of the work so can do what I like with it. Had thought about a calendar but I'd need to sell a good 100 or so to make it worth while.
