I have Elinchrom dlite 100's, a lencarta ringflash and various paper roll backdrops. To be honest I only use the ringflash now as I shoot glamour 99% of the time.

I have a 5D mkIII with the 24-105 and love it. I use that lens for all my glamour work now and can't express how good the quality is. If you can afford one, do it:)

I've upgraded mine a few times and not had a problem. Do you backup yours to timemachine though incase?

I started with a 600D. Great camera mate:)

What about mounting it on a mono pod?

I use an apple airport for my wireless. Much more reliable and gives a better range.

I'm off to Vegas in a couple of weeks and want a small tripod that will handle my 5D mk III / 24-105 comfortably. I've looked at the Gorillapods, but not convinced thats the best solution. Any thoughts?

5D mk III (full frame). Not saying that's the lens to go for, but having moved to L glass, the quality is stunning.

I shoot with a Canon 24-105L 99% of the time. And very occasionally might use the 50mm. personally I'd invest in better quality glass than lots of lenses. Trust me:)

Yeah definitely worth it in my opinion mate. When I started photography last year I purchased a lastolite softbox for my speedlight along with a cheap wireless trigger from Jessops.
