Save up and do it properly, You can sometimes get second hand stuff on here, I put springs on my 1.6 and then upgraded to coilovers and couldnt believe the difference

you can get coilovers for £130ish new.

If you can afford coilovers get them :) Alot less body roll although a slightly firmer ride.

you cant put a standard 182 exhaust on as a 1.4 has a wheel well in the back, The 182 doesnt. Ktec do one that goes round it though but its expensive.

Its not too bad to be honest, Worked out £500 more than the renewal for my current clio. I think i will probably go down the 197 route though.

with the aux you will need a cable to go from your iphone to the stereo. Im not sure on the usb though although i know my friend uses a usb memory stick to play his music on his stereo so i guess you could plug the iphone in using the usb.

It depends how much coating they put on, i can ask them to put more on if you want it shiney .

Type in js500 plating on google to give you an idea.

I think you can get nickel plating kits for £60-100 but im not sure how good the finish would be, Cant you paint them?

Well i go to the platers pretty much most weeks and we only use js500 or zn3 +clear. They both come back in silver. If you want other finishes i can get it done but its not cheap as i cant just mix the stuff in with other work that is been coated.

Ye thats the problem :( You can get DIY plating kits on ebay but there expensive i think.
