The motor factors round here dont do the Strut tops for the 172, and Renault want 53quid for a full shock, so they can kiss my RS
Are the rear strut tops the same on all clios?
haha everything that goes wrong with Dell kits needs a firmware update, when you ring them, f**king knobs, its not the firmware, its your shitty ass arrays!!!!
Cheers Gaz, there aint no allen key hole in the top like the fronts, just had a look and it looks like either side has different top mounts but im sure the metal washer that sits inside the rubber bit has gone walkabouts so they look different.
Got a shitty knocking noise at the rear and traced it to a loose rear shock, now in the mean time while trying to diagnose the problem it has bitten away at the rubber washer type thing, can I just get a new one from the motor factors?
Are these called top mounts?
Scuse my ignorance ;)
How...
Yeah think it was because it was a mk1 maybe, I know 2live got it cheaper than that! But Chris paid nearer 400ish for his Cup
Anyway cheers for thwe calmbelt price, I'll drop you a pm, seems reasonable.
Yeah I see what your saying £££ / BHP but I paid £310 for my live remap by Wayne (Chipwizards) can't be much less for an off the shelf chip surely?
Does anyone know if Paul does cambelts too?
Wasnt really talking about this thread more in general, was thinking more peolple spending money on mods etc, then getting a generic map.
Again I'm not slagging Paul off or any off the shelf chips, it just seems to me people spend loads of money on mods, then kind of skimp (IMHO so to speak)...
Not slaggin off Paul, I know he's a good lad, but how come everyone is going for off the shelf maps these days and not a live type map?
Price I know is an issue, but would people not pay the extra and get the map to suit the car rather than another car?
Just wondering?
hehe love my Cup its great, but have been like an over excited school boy this week as the Williams has been in for its MOT, aint drove it for 5 months and I cant fuckin wait, don't get this feeling with the Cup, oh and 2live car should be Insured and taxed by the end of the week you fancy a...
I drove quite a few Cups before buying mine, they all seem varied to me, I tried one that was sluggish and steered well clear, it only had 28k on it too, might of had something to do with it and 1 woman owner
I did my MCSE in 1 lot was hell of a lot better that way, all the exams passed over a 2 week period, of course I did plenty of revision before hand adn they supplied a lot of reading materials
I have both, Williams is better, IMHO, not saying anything is wrong with my Cup as its great, but I still prefer the Williams, and am very glad I didn't get rid when I got the Cup
Ignore me it is 20odd beans, Renault ordered the wrong part, well they didnt the dialogys seemed to give the wrong loom, piece of s**t, anyway I have a 5 dat wait back order on one.
Quick tip from the geezer at Renno, twist the pins on the Sensor with some needle nose pliers so it touches the...
