There is or was a member on here called Oliver k4m or somthing like that who has done a bit of tuning to these engines.
I wouldn't put too much money into modding it, as you say not many about anymore I would look to keep it clean and tidy up any bits needing it and just enjoy it for what it is
Possibly they would if required but my deal was in poor condition and I wanted a nice one that fitted perfect so went for a genuine one.
No, all windscreen companies just fit their own screens but they generally are identical except instead of Renault it says autoglass etc.
If the screens are...
I've had the proper UV resistant tinted glass under my windscreen cover, it wasn't a Renault windscreen but it was still like for like and I was asked on the phone if it was.
I bought a new seal kit from Renault and just gave it to the guy fitting
Bit high but it's a dealer so to be expected. As above get the rear door cards off for a look. As long as it runs well and you are happy with it that's all that matters.
Looks tidy, front bumper has been painted but panel gaps look ok so assume it just got a freshen up
I would assume that they use a different bottom end so the boxes don't straight swap straight over.
If your really into the car then just drop the engine and box into yours
Your correct you will need to swap the gearstick and linkages and probably the clutch cable
you can use one of these instead of the tunepoint if you just want to listen to music off your phone, but it doesn't let you control it thru the stalk obviously...
