almost, you need to run a new power cable from the battery to the live on that connector (the ebay epas kit comes with an inline fuse) you then ground it under the dash.
The eBay kit needs you to also ground a wire, take an ignition switched 12v feed (i used the cruise control switch) and comes...
yeah dci has a quicker rack, not sure if its any more robust but it does bolt directly to the subframe so no bushes to worry about.
Yes the EPAS ecu has 3x connectors:
goes directly to the motor its a green cable so you need that with your epas setup you remove from a car
is where your eBay...
Well she went for an MOT and sailed through without an advisory!!! (I would have been disappointed if it didn't given its pretty much been fully rebuilt and every bush and mount replaced lol)
then promptly on the way home from the MOT station threw an abs fault again and lit the dash up like...
Mine runs the dci rack as well as it's a converted van. The dci rack is faster than the 182 one and the assistance set in the middle feels pretty much like the car did as standard on the hydraulic. Around town at max assistance is lovely!
The owner of the red one is on here. I was watching it on eBay when it was on an auction and when it went abover £500 i threw the towel in.
It does look very good condition and they are actually a good little car BUT they don't feel special in any way shape or form which really is what matters...
Ideally you want to replace the standard cat with a pipe rather than gut the standard one, but it can be done just cut it open, gut and weld closed again.
You shouldn't notice any increased smell, not like you would on a decat petrol anyway, you will get a bit more smoke on throttle, a bit...
The twingo is absolutely sound with a poly bushed one too, hardly any extra vibration, I remember one on my old Clio and the dash top was almost vibrating off lol
People will say all sorts from putting it on axel stands to take weight off the suspension etc but in reality, stick a trickle charger on it if possible to keep the battery topped up and that's all I would worry about, maybe stick fresh oil in it before and try and have as little fuel in it as...
If that story was remotely true then the car had an underlying health issue with the oil pump!
Letting a car run for a few minutes once a week/month while it's off the road will do it absolutely no harm, in the same way leaving it for 2 years without turning the key will do it no harm.
One of those cars it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Somewhere in the region of 8-10k I'd say is reasonable although not sure I would part with that personally!
That was my first thought, fractured spring, caught on the top mount jamming it, pull enough on wheel until the spring jumps. You wouldn't be able to overcome the steering lock I wouldn't have thought, that's is their design after all!
If both front tyres are matching and both front springs are matching even if the wrong ones then I'm going wheel alignment. It's the only thing that could cause it to pull it's self left other than possibly a sticking brake caliper
so its not that the steering wheel is off centre its that it is pulling left?
miss matched front tyres
seized/cracked suspension top mount bearing
wrong spring fitted, was it a GT specific spring that was fitted to the car? they are different from normal mk3 clio items
