Go with an f4r and a ClioTurbo.co.uk conversion, probably still work out cheaper.
There is a few custom k4m turbos about, none in the uk though as far as i know
ive never tipped a delivery driver, I don't tip the DHL man when he brings me shiney new car parts so why would I tip the guy bringing my dinner lol. Ill tip a waiter or waitress in a restaurant if I get good customer service, but that's becoming very rare these days too!!
Lol at never use your own car for work as you never fet back what u paid in, my car cost me £1000 and my company has gave me £2500 in expenses for using it!
In reply to the original question, we have been using these engines for driving school cars since 2001, usually change the cars at 140k...
I had a dodgey one and fitted these last week http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RENAULT-CLIO-Mk2-172-182-RS-Formula-Power-10mm-RACE-PERFORMANCE-Plug-Lead-sets-/311297769037?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item487acafe4d
I usually stick to genuine stuff but they are sound so far!
Im not slating the car at all, it has its negatives, the problem is as a package its not good enough compaired to the competition to out weigh the negatives.
Look at the out going 200, crashy ride, horrid front bumper, s**t fuel consumption, none of this mattered because as a package, very...
you cant map them stealthly though if they want to find it they will! so glad I didn't do mine after my engine going bang at 1700 miles on my older 200
It's 4 services as far as i know so yeah you would get your yearly service, my mrs is doing 30k a year ago we just get 18, 36, 54 and 72k out of them
They have a dpf so IM not sure if short journeys would cause some issues i just do about 7 miles a day in my 80 and its sound but no dpf on it
Trophy is spotless, not a mark on it so it doesnt scratch the flat out blasting itch!
Then theres the dci80 for going back and forward to work and filling with car parts/dirty s**t! And the mk4 for my mrs 130mile commute and days out with the pram!
my cup is on standard map and never saw much benefit to taking it past 7000rpm, Trophy is on Fastchip 98ron and still isn't tailing off at 7500rpm but ive never taken it any higher!
ive got a mapped dCi 90 one, night and day compaired to the mk3 absolutely love it, not tried the TCE though, I heard they were a bit gutless, better than the 1.2 16v 75 though!
Renault parts specialist is doing it a bit cheaper than that lol, and obviously ive not ordered a cat, fitting kits, clamps, hangers and sleves as these are all in good condition anyway, its just a backbox and centre section I needed!
As long as you have the standard parts then id just leave it as it is, mine needs an exhaust so im going to buy a new renault one and keep it to the side and stick a cheaper sportex one or somthing on it for using!
