This is comical, at least if you struggled to get a test drive of a previous 200 you had the press raving about it and the fact it was £200 deposit and £200 a month pcp to tempt you!!!!
that's good for a mk2, I always found they wernt too great on fuel when I drove them, or atleast not good enough to choose one over a 172 for a runabout for me, and of course no where near dci level but they must have revised the engine as our 13 plate twingo does 50mpg no problem every day

106 turbo is bigger yep, 86/88 turbo spools up mega quick though no lag like the 106 has, but the reward of the 106 is more puff higher up the revs, if you just blast about town id probably keep the 86/88 turbo and just map that!
I had a 88 when my 106 was in under warranty and I didn't find it...
best thing you can do if you hate repair costs is bite the bullet stick a set of rear dampers, rear discs, handbrake cables, eibachs, exhaust and engine mounts on it, hastle free few years after that lol
good effort on your behalf driving that at 32 and not worrying about what people think, im a bit conscious that I look a bit old for my car driving a standard 172 at 24!

the 1.2 16v seems to have been revised though we have just bought a brand new twingo 1.2 16v and over the last 1500 miles its averaged 58.5mpg!!! £30 roadtax now too! s**t slow compaired to a dci80 though.

ive got a pretty decent drive to work which is why I picked a 172 as its at its best on they sort of roads, if I was doing boring miles however id want a cumfy diesel
good cheap runabout, I do about 12-15k in mine a year and its fine, although I stuck a standard exhaust, fresh wheelbearings, new engine mounts, clutch cable and standard airbox/filter to make it a nice daily!
very vague! you got a video so we can tell you if its normal or not?
if the long fabric type hose going from the airbox to the front of the battery is torn it will be a bit louder than it should
no point touching anything without mapping it, the rest just makes it drive worse, dump valves, induction kits etc
remap absolutely transforms them!
engines on them are bullet proof, will run 140-150bhp all day long with a set of 172 injectors as the injectors are the weak point
In my opinion, Yes. Depends what you consider worth it, I know people that a £300 remap on a turbo car wouldn't be "worth it" I know people that a 1bhp gain would be worth it.
my standard ones wernt too bad, fitted a set of AWT ones and the car got a nice gain.
