as above just cleverly worded, drilled and grooveddiscs are garbage they crack and make noise under hard braking, speak to G 172 about brembo hc discs and mintex pads
yeah thats the problem, the dustcover and bump stops all come as one part, wests renault in the traders section can get a hold of them they are about 25 quid for the pair
mine was hitting the arch liners during 5mph mini roundabouts and bumper brackets during anything more than slow driving, fitted the bump stops that were missing and it cured it straight away.
if running eibach springs its impossible for it to hit the bumper brackets if bump stops are there...
I got brembo HC and mintex fast road pads, braided lines and new fluid from G 172, was under £200 and would put my old clio 200 brembos to shame, they are epic!

I think what people are trying to say is that where you will notice a difference in a 1.4 16v, its not worth considering changing for, especially when the 1.6...
lol at the 1.4 beating 1.8 turbo civic things, is there even such thing as a turbo civic 1.8 thing? or do we just refer to vtec as turbo now since its another cool word?
im with Dan@M.A.D, 1.4 never felt much different to a 1.2 too me, I had a 1.6 16v though and it felt better, be careful...
I had one of these baby things to look after for a weekend and to get it in the back of my twingo I had to fold one of the rear seats down and pass it through the boot, was murder.
