non genuine ones are boomy and the bends are always restrictive on them. ive just fitted a new genuine one on mine and the car sounds as it should, nice noise when going for it and quiet around town. fits perfect too of course

quite smart, dci110 is a cracking engine, cant imagine it in something that big and 4WD but will still return good MPG I bet!

jesus that does seem expensive compaired to what ive been reading online but most of the ones ive been reading into are just straight 3-5yr finance where you own the car at the end

no i skipped to the end when someone started discussing if silvervisions were aloud slicks to me are not road tyres, and if that's what they refer to on here then that's odd?

for that reason i think nominating a road tyre rather than slicks would be better, as many of us yonger ones don't have licences to tow so we could have road legal cars (of course you can swap wheels but it ends up with everyone with road wheels lying about just complicates things!

im with something along the lines of freds idea... standard inlet/airbox, no matching. standard ecu, do what you want with mapping (everyone will just run fastchip 98ron!) standard diameter discs and standard callipers do as you please with manufactuer/compound nominate a tyre for the series...

that sounds like my twingo and that was my ear in the car not mic in airbox lol!

200's break alright lol!! I stuck 4 tyres on my 172, £140 discs, fast road pads, fluid and lines £195 they cost peanuts to run!

never driven a 197 but I found the low down pull on my 200 better than my 172's but obviously that was one of the 200s stronger points with the different cylinder head and gearbox ratios

I done cup dampers, cup bottom arms, track rod, rod ends, top mounts, engine mounts, driveshafts, exhaust mounts and eibachs. drives awesome

something looks funny with the back end of your car, heres my most recent one, you will notice my front drivers hub is bent and had to be corrected with a camber bolt until I get a new one ordered, also my caster is out as im running cup arms

they have used the wrong settings on the machine that's for non RS cars if you look at the description at the top

just cambelt kit, aux belt (few quid!) and water pump, a doddle on these!

personally yes that's what I just fitted to mine, made a world of difference

loosen the 4 bolts on the upper drivers side engine mount, get someone to pull the engine forward as far as you can and tighten the mount back up, that usually cures it!

I bought a 172 for £1000 and spent £1300 on it the day I got it to make me happy with it. now its a bit tatty on the outside/inside but it drives perfect!

£12 to become a member and you will save that on your suspension over getting it anywhere else!

from memory my 200 would do 120 in 5th then 150 in 6th

if its a non rs stick a set of Toyo T1R's on it, 195/50/15... 4 for £140!
