Unfortunately this sort of moronic anti-mk1 posting still happens quite a lot on here you just have to try & ignore it
Yes please!
But I get the feeling Haribo & sexual favours aren't acceptable payment methods :(
Don't suppose there's any more with that red valver in the background behind the white one? Wasn't expecting my car to be out on track but I let Dan borrow it after killing his box
Was still bloody quick as well
Coops has got the old 1/4 mile launching skills finely tuned, some of the guys on clio16valver get him to drive their cars up the strip when we're there to get a good idea of what times they should be getting :approve:
But from the sounds of it I'm guessing the 1st 4 are going to be crank sensor and the 3 connections on the thermostat housing or, depending what you've already got plugged in, they could be to the aux water pump or the fan switch on the radiator
As for the others they sound like they could be...
I'd agree with you to an extent there, but I honestly do see at least 3 or 4 RS clios every day, must be bloody loads up here. I'd say that I notice lower model mk3's more than than the mk2's but that's because they're so fuckin big it upsets me that they're even called a clio

Already realised that by sticking with a poxy 4 pot renault ;)
Mind you the thing that's made me keep with it is watching an instructor drive a pretty standard valver, ok stripped out with bucket seats but you get the idea, on track & absolutely dicking far superior machinery out there...
What & become another R loving sheep? NEVER!! :rasp: I'll have sucked many a penis dry before I consider fitting an R to any valver of mine
Besides, the only work I did was plug in a randomly bought ecu plus that engine has got suspected piston ring oil burning type issues which I had...
Try again mate http://www.clio16valver.co.uk/forum/ it's deffo free and the register of cars isn't in the paid members section so you can see if it's in there, you just need to do the usual signing up stuff as you do for any forum ;)
As for the claimed power I'd be skeptical, just to give you...
Depending what side of Notts you're in, sideways danny in Bedford is similar distance, it's where I take my car these days ;)
