Does anyone know of any companies that specialise in insuring 17 year olds who have just passed their driving test? My g/f's brother is trying to get his first insurance policy and the best quote TPFT is just over £1900 which was found through Confused.com. Any help appreciated.....

Black gold 182 (which had a nice sounding induction kit BTW) heading towards Longstone from Wester Hails. Passed me as I was turning into Parkhead/Sighthill around 4:45-5pm.

Y plate (French pressed metal plate) 172 in Maroon (cant remember the exact naming of the colour) spotted in the car park of Western Toyota in Edinburgh. Probably around 4pm time.....looked nice and shiney!

Spotted a black gold Clio V6 in the car park of Evan's Halshaw Renault in Edinburgh from Wednesday or Thurday of last week. I assume it was in getting the crack on the front bumper repaired?

Saw this aptly registered Clio Trophy on Track in one of the afternoon session's at Trax.

I spotted a convoy of 5 or 6 V6's heading northbound on the M1 near Leicester after FCS. Got a thumbs up from the blue V6 that was leading the convoy - I was in the black 182 :cool:

Nice quiet non mag day which meant plenty of runs up the 1/4 mile - I managed to run a 14.955 in my Clio 182! :) There was lovely sunny weather but it was pretty chilly due to being pretty windy. The only other Clio in attendance on the day was possibly the worst Mk 1 Oasis 1.2 with 5 doors...

I found a button in the Clio that I've never noticed after 2 months of ownership. It's on the right stalk behind the steering wheel and it is to the left of the button you turn for the rear wipers. It looks like it speeds something up/down but can't see anything in the manual. What is it? :S

Anyone know how I can get in to a W-reg Clio Grande bonnet that isn't opening by the usual lever? I think the cable that pops the bonnet has snapped or has come off it's catch.

One of the bulbs on my 182 is not working. It is the one that is furthest on the right had side of the o/s headlight.....I think it is the xenon one. Is this correct? If so, how much is a new one from Renault? Is it easy to fit? Or is there somewhere else that may do them cheaper? Cheers!
