If it's 4 months old, just take it back to the Apple store - less hassle and they'll probably just replace it there and then. :)

Never got a text but plugged it into iTunes and all of a sudden it was unlocked!

Bump ... I've just upgraded to the new software to wipe the unlock. Just topped up a sim card with £20 and requested the unlock. Anyone know how long this is roughly taking at the moment?

Just been looking around at guides ... I'm slowly building up courage to try it myself, it's out of warranty so I don't really have anything to lose tbh! Tempted just to whack a 2Tb HDD in though ... should do me for a while!!

I'm sure we will be seeing these in the future! It's crazy to think how much these things have been devoloped in the past ten years. It was only a few years ago I remember USB pens started to be released - I think my first one was 32mb! Same goes for Compact Flash cards, when I first started...

I have Time Machine running all the time so syncing back is not a problem for me, I just don't feel comfortable taking it all apart!

Am I right in thinking that the Hard disk installed in the iMac's are standard? I'm looking at upgrading to a 1TB disk in the near future. Would I be able to purchase the Hard Disk and then take it to Apple to fit it for me? I've found guides on the internet but I'm not sure if I trust myself...

Co-Pilot is the best imo - never had a problem with it. I've just paid for a years subscription of travel updates for only £20 quiid. Bargain for what you get!

I bought some really cool photo frames that are each 10cm x 10cm - I have 30 of them, the plan is to get a really nice photo - divide it into 10 x 10 squares, print and then display. How do I cut these images into 10x10 squares in Photoshop? Is there an easy way to do this and then print?

Just got a new 197 style Renault Sport badge (Thanks Tom @ Wests Renault!). I removed the old badge with a credit card and some APC, however I can still see the marks left behind - I've removed all of the residue and have used a bit of swirl remover, I THINK it's slowly coming off but not too...
