just cancelled my apple order, will wait, seems the networks maybe cheaper..

£35 18month orange contract seems good, a pound cheaper than simplicity £15 ppm i think too over 2 years

Yep by my calculations there really isn't that much to be saved from buying from Apple and getting a Simplicity deal. (This is based on me not already having a cheap Simplicity deal).

Don't like the 500 txt cap on 18month deals though. Would prefer to have more..

^sure most people would be using apps like Yak and Messenger for free texting follow iphoners, only need to use the allowance for non iphoners

I'm glad I chose a sim-free iPhone 4.

Orange £35 per month, 18 months, £319 handset cost = £949
Sim-free 32gb, Simplicity £20 per month = £959

The simplicity tariff also gives me 1200 texts which is much better than the 500 Orange are giving.

those prices are tempting me again for a new ctr with o2. £240 to pay off current contract and £160 upgrade isnt bad for the new phone if got £300 for 3gs

Those deals suck. A lot.

Plus it might be £20 cheaper, but it's locked and you get half the data every month.

Let's see what o2 do on PAYG but you can be sure those contract prices are going to be the same for everyone pretty much..

I see Orange's *unlimited internet* is actually 750mb/month.
Not a massive difference then with O2's capped at 500.

No. not at all really. FAR From unlimited tbf. Altho if your using that much, an extra £5 a month aint bad for an extra 500mb.

Yeah I see what your saying Revels......£385 is pretty steep for 8gb.
I hope so! I've budgeted to get £250 for it, so I know ill get more than that!

I pay 15 quid a month will I get unlimited calls and Internet? How do I get into the apple website, if only there was a search engine type website for these queries!

Only £30 cheaper on Orange on PAYG, rather have it direct from Apple with it also being unlocked!

So I presume O2 will be very similar with their prices so if the difference is £30 there abouts then thats fine with me. I will be keeping my order from Apple.

Where do Vodafone stand in this unlimited data thing.

My contract came with 600 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited internet/data.

To be honest I think it's worked out OK for me. £30 a month contract (18mnths left), £499 for iphone, and I sold my BB 9700 for £167....so it's going to cost me £872 all together. Not too bad! It'll be insured as well, as no doubt I'll break it at some point!

I am pretty happy with the contract prices. Not sure which size or colour to go for, but I have kept my 3G for two years and it wasn't an issue, I wasnt too fussed about the 3GS. Just a matter of whether to go for 18mths or 2 years.

Orange users requiring a Micro Sim

Just rang up, and got directed through to the specialist iPhone section.

I asked them to put unlimited internet package to my bundle which they done, then I asked for a Micro Sim. The guy on the phone said that they werent offering them, and he then went to double check his manager who actually confirmed that they are now offering them, so he's sent me one to my home address now

So they are offering the Micro Sims, you just have to be directed to the iPhone department.

Also sent me a text with something about 'Wifi Services Username' Can anyone help me with this?
