Hi all, my boot lid is loose and so it's knocking about a bit when I'm driving. I've read that you can tighten the torx screw on the catch to stop this, so I need to buy one the right size.
Does anyone know the correct size?
Thanks
I just have mine fitted with industrial strength velcro, with the full size one in the boot. It takes about 15 seconds to change them if I ever need to.

It's normal for the fans to stay at a low speed when you first start the car. Once the air gets hot enough the fans speed up. I love this as it stops me getting cold air in my face first thing in the morning :)
There is a cheaper way (like £3 or something) to fix it if you're handy with a soldering iron, but I'm afraid that is way beyond my knowledge so I can't really help. I'm sure someone else will be able to though.
There is also a company on eBay who you can send yours to, they fix it, and you pay...
You need a new heater resistor pack.
You can buy one second hand for around £50-70, but as they are a common part to go wrong, I'd recommend buying new, for around £120.
You can fit it yourself in about 5 mins. They are located underneath the scuttle panel, drivers side, next to the windscreen...
I just saw this thread and was surprised, because I just posted this - http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?550241-Some-hard-to-explain-symptoms-any-ideas
I have 2 and 3, and it's very annoying :(
I think my shocks are gone!
I just bought this one from Halfords. No idea if it's any good, but it works and feels secure. If you don't already have some, get some axle stands as well - http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_217059_langId_-1_categoryId_165727
Hi all,
Ok, so here are some things which are going on with my car right now:
- The ride seems A LOT more harsh than normal. Bumps in the road really seem to shake the car. I'm on OEM shocks with Eibach Sportline springs. My first thought is the shocks need replacing, but I'm not sure which...
It feels horrible.
My ABS light came on the other day as it had been kicking in lots in the recent snow. It is intermittent now, do I need to replace the ABS ring on one/more of my brakes?
I also have a quick question. When ABS kicks in, should the pedal feel a bit weird? Like it's grinding over something?
I've never had ABS before so I'm not sure :(
Is it best practice to replace all brake pads at the same time, regardless of wear? Or can I put new rears in and leave the fronts until they are worn?
Also, if I'm fitting new rear discs (just OEM ones), should I also considering replacing front discs as well? (with the Brembo £45 ones, and...
