Exactly this. M3: Coilovers 2k bbk 2k its horses for courses, I paid 1k for a bootlid for my m3 haha, granted it was a CSL one but still crazy money, also paid £900 for second hand coilies. Big bucks!

God damn. very cheap although I bet they are a b*****d to run. Fuel consumption/brakes/servicing I reckon you'd spend more money on things like that than the actual cost of the car. Awesome still:)

I had a spare silver turini on mine and it really did look great. Makes it look so fresh. actually prefer the silver wheels!

Cheers guys. One thing that let's it down is the engine bay, would like to get the inlets all nice and shiny but don't know where to start. Need to get my head out my arse and get it sorted. Apart from that ill just be keeping on top of it maintenance wise and keeping it clean.

Damn I love this sort of thing. I wouldn't have a clue where to start and that's the whole point in a project like this. Starting from the bottom and coming out the other side with a peach of a motor!

Spent the day giving the car another clean. Started with all the arches, some amount of muck in them. Started off with a general rinse then used an apc to loosen the dirt then scrubbed them down and applied bare bones to the arches to keep them relatively clean. Cleaned out the brakes and the...

Got them from this guy mate Shameless172 They cost a fiver delivered and they are great. Renault charge around £20 for them:o

I dunno.. Maybe a split of some sort from say a jack positioned wrongly? Just guessing really mate

Checked below the car too? Might be somewhere the water is getting in and travelling along to that point.. Check the draining sort of pipes to see if they are blocked.
