Happy with the OE exhaust but l guess with engine mods it would be better to change.

FF ones melt less !! I thought about Xenons.How easy it is it to fit ones from a FF 182? Can it be done DIY ? And how much? And secondhand xenons or new?

I have fitted 182 FF seats,a ff steering wheel and had a re-map carried out. What other modifications or upgrades would you recommend? The car is never tracked so l don't need brake/suspension mods doing as its well suited to my driving style as it is.

He's just come back from Kwikfit. They have fitted a new tyre,done the tracking (which was a mile out),topped up the water and oil,fitted a new fan belt and handbrake cable and done a full suspension check...all for £85.00 :) Happy days ! He says it drives much better now and the main thing...

Could be a baffle in the exhaust system.Had this on my 205 gti...and it was checked out but nothing could be found. My 182 Cup can sometimes have a hum...could be the gearbox.

I'm guessing it's his driving speed and lack of reading the road conditions that are putting him on the brink of a big moment ! He drives the work's van as if he's Marko Alen !

Same as his. He also drives it as if he's stolen it though...would never let him have a go of my Cup ;)

My brother has told me about this on his 1.2.If he brakes over rough ground the car seems to just skip over the surface as if the brakes don't work.I need to have a go in his car to check it out but he's had a few garages check it and they say theres nothing wrong. Very strange....

Same here.It sounds like the spring is twisting and scraping on the top mount.It's a real fucker as the only thing that has ever gone wrong in 3 years was the engine temp sensor had to be changed under warranty as l broke down in the middle of nowhere near Ripon a week after buying it :(

I have seen a few black ones with stickers just behind and above the front wheels that are silver in colour.What are these as l think they look quite good and fancy some for my RB Cup...after it's been washed !!

They have lots of tread left. I just wonder if something needs greasing...the 182 is not like my 205 Gti...l knew every nut and bolt and could solve problems easy.

A bit like mine...and this is after the Reno modification. Can sometimes feel like the wheels about to fall off but the car was serviced at Birchdown about 1.5k ago and they didn't fine anything wrong. Can handles as it should though...
