thanks for your help bud.
i removed both side seals from the vehicle, and lifted the flap on the top horizontal seal. i then ran a 3mm thick bead of clear silicone around the edge of the window and i refit the seal.
i have been up and down the motorway a couple of times at speed and happy...
i have a horrible problem with my 182, on a motorway the windscreen makes a horrible screaming noise at high speed.
i searched on clio sport a few times, at first i thought it was to do with the drivers side mirror and the gap where the external temperature sensor could be. (poor design by...
I had a silly comment from my father in law the other day (he also has a 182).
He asked me why don't I buy one of those k and n 57i kits for my 182, they make a massive difference.
I just face palmed and walked off.
Unfortunately as soon as a cars value drops drops to around £2000 to £3000 (nyou can get alot of 172s for around this price now) the scaly wags can afford them. There are alot of Chaved up 172's driving round near me now. With universal back boxes and silly lights.
if you cant get to a skoda dealer these are sold on ebay. i got one from e bay a while back brand new for £15 including postage. a tad more expensive than direct from skoda but meh...
my RS 192 is silent on motorways with the cruise control on, i love it. the only thing i dont like about it is the poor quality of the de cat pipe. the exhaust hasnt fit properly since the day it was fitted.
Anything under £700 on coilovers will be crap. I know, I have v maxx at the min and they are shocking. Too soft and very bouncy when even going over a mild bumpy road.
Get the arb, then either springs and shocks or £700 + coilovers
They are your only options
ill let you know bud, the car sits nice now but the ride is horrible and the suspension is far too soft when driving hard.
hopefully the koni kit will be a massive imrpovement
I have been thinking about this for a long time now. I currently have v maxx coilovers (they came on the car) and they are going to be replaced with solid too mounts and Koni 35mm kit.
The reason being that this will be an awesome handling set up and the only way I can think of improving this...
V maxx are very poor coilovers. I know because I have a set. Also the much lows you have gone for will have probably ruined your handling. Well done on removing the plastic arches btw, they are there for a reason.
Your English language skills leave much to be desired, you sound like you are...
I disagree, I changed my side lights for LED bulbs. The yellow side lights looked crap especially with the bright xenons.
The White LED lights look alot better IMO
Re: Will a crash in a works vehicle with business insurance effect my personal insura
I wouldn't, rs got nothing to do with your personal insurance. If I had a crash in my car I would tell the insurance company. If I had a crash in my van I wouldn't. I think it's a grey area tbh but that is my...
It comes on even faster if you remove the second lambda ( I did this and the light came on after 20 miles with a fault code; secondary lambda sensor failure )
i just had a look at the CAT and the flange on the end is welded on at a slight angle. i didnt notice this with the de cat so i think that could be contributing to it
looks like its not a common thing then, im going to butcher the de cat i think. i shall be cutting a section out of the middle of it 20mm wide and welding it back up. if this doesnt solve the problem ill buy a yozza de cat or something similar
