Rang for a price on some rear discs oe with bearings and abs rings from renault stoke today and they came back with a price of £75 including vatand £21 including vat for the pads cracking price me thinks. the joys of being in the trade.lol:rasp:

took the car to renault specialist earlier and he had the stephiscope(cant spell) out and said the noise coming from the engine was the water pump so i told him i want a cam belt kit, aux belt kit, water pump, dephaser pulley, antifreeze, oil and filter all filled. rang back just and he give me...

Fitted some rear interior lights in the 172 yesterday, look quite good. Wired them up to the front interior light so that they work the same, also did the all round led bulbs upgrade including boot light,all interior lights, glovebox and rear number plate.

thinking about wiring some courtesy lights in the footwell like the newer cars so that they come on with the interior lights! whats everyone think?

Done the plastics in amphasite as i said i was goin to. Done the grilles, scuttle,splitter,fog surrounds and rear wiper.

i bought our 172 in march and in the price was 3 months warranty. now my vvt pully sounds is knackered so i ring the dealer and he said the warranty doesnt cover it. so what iam i covered for. ringing him back tomorrow?

Went in work early today to machine polish the car. cleaned and leathered it off and started by using the 3m hologram polish to get rid off them nasty swirls, once i had done all over i washed off the car again and leathered and gave it another coating in the 3m hologram by hand and cleaned off...

clutch seems to have gone really heavy. are 172s known for the clutch cable seizing?

Got my car in work while it was quite. Ive had the front end painted to get rid of the stone chips as there was loads of them painted both bumpers, painted the tailgate button and also done the back bumper moulding and rear wiper surround the same colour as the badges and painted the calipers...

who would be interested in some of these made up for all you missing them from the front bumper. can make some with same style vinal.
