warranty cover

i bought our 172 in march and in the price was 3 months warranty. now my vvt pully sounds is knackered so i ring the dealer and he said the warranty doesnt cover it. so what iam i covered for. ringing him back tomorrow?

You shoulda really asked the dealer before you took the car away.

When i got mine he told me (i also got him to put it in writing) that for three months i am covered for anything that goes wrong, bar Cam/timing belt.
Just aswell cos 6 weeks later the coil pack died =[

haha my clio 1.2 extreme had 3 months warrenty and i took in after a month because the airbag light kept coming on cost me £80 quid to repair they didnt tell me before they put a new wire in to the seat that it woudlnt cover under warrenty. (They told me Wires are not covered after i had a shout) but they told me before the airbag could go off at any moment so :S do they care about the customer saftey :| . .. Got Home rang the main head office and told them what happen and rebursed me the money so happy days but over a airbag light 80 quid u having a joke
