That's what I wanted to hear! Instead of just jamming a couple resistors in is there a plug and play solution?
Also, I assume the passenger airbag will still work?
Right so I can't get a straight answer via google, and couldn't find anything via search, I am considering changing my steering wheel to one without an airbag but what do I need to do to make sure it will pass its mot? Also I know I must tell insurance company about it too.
Hey guys, basically I need to replace my back box as it's rotted. I'm not getting a standard choc box, and I got a scorpion back box with the car, but it was cut to fit. God know why but it obviously didn't make sense to just replace box for box to the previous owner. It was cut before the...
Sorry to bump an old(ish) thread but would this cause limp mode to jump in? The previous owner of mine used to like driving through puddles..... Big, scary size buggers and it used to come on every now and again after.
Thanks :) After having a good look today I'll never have it spotless, too many stone chips and deep bumper scratches etc.. but what I can keep mint I will!
So I managed to somehow lose my brand new bottle of polish  So I did one thorough clean including door jambs and under the bonnet, although no pics of that. Wheels will 100% need a refurb after seeing them in the light.
Headlights in need of restoration too.
Not too sure about the...
Hey guys, I was giving the car a scrub around the engine bar earlier and had the ignition on so I had some music to listen to and I could hear this constantly, it did change its tone when I gave the inlet a slap but it didn't do it while recording so I didn't capture that.
Does anyone have any...
I'll see what I can do, if I haven't got any I'm sure my neighbor will. It does have the odd stone chip etc.. but to be honest I've not seen it this clean although it's not had a hard life or been raced. I am very happy with it though!
I'll get my membership sorted at the end of the month...
I do kind of regret the username now, I fancied a change but I'll be changing it asap. EDIT - Can't. Do I need to become a member or wait a year?
Thanks, unfortunately I don't have any wax nor can I get any til the end of the month, paying for the car has cleaned me out unfortunately. As...
So my mate dropped off my new shed, not been washed since christmas.
Then I naturally gave the love and attention she deserved....... even though the sun has gone down by the time I peeled off all the stickers.
I only had time to get a couple washes in but I'll give her a polish...
Sorry to double post but google super wrench, first link. Brilliant and invaluable bit of kit. If you can find a demo video I think you'll be quite impressed.
I couldn't comment on that as I've not had to replace the mount yet, so I don't know what hanger you're on about but that sounds like the best plan.
Regarding using grips, I can't remember the name of them but there's a set of grips you can get that tighten their grip as you turn them. My dad...
Can you get the other bolts off or are they all the same? If you can then you might be able to grab what's left with some grips or weld a nut to what's left and wind it out. I'd leave welding a nut to it as a last resort though.
Do you have a pic of the snapped bolt?

Well that's one hell of a transformation, looking good and only going to get better with the turinis!
Yeah hopefully everything will be alright. What does scare me is the amount of 17/18 year olds with starlets and the like, driving like the roads are empty. Berks.
